F1 » Schumacher retires for second time

Great shame to see Schumi retiring although he has been outperformed by his teammate he never gave up and always tried his best in the Mercedes car. I was reading somewhere that he was long thinking of retiring apparently he said in all his years in F1 he would never have thought he would have seen the day that he would be overtaken on a track like Monaco and it is thought that this was the start of him thinking about retirement in 2011 although he got pole in 2012 it seemed the damage was done a year earlier, real shame.

F1 » Lauda: Mercedes has F1’s best driver

richard & taipan :) you both have a point but you must remember this was the man who said that Lewis Hamilton was the greatest rookie so it stands to reason that greatest rookie best driver. Ahh, i know maybe he was talking about Nico. richy don't want to read the interview as the sub heading sounds so apt. And guys i was watching a Martin Brundle interview on SKY, and guess what? I was hearing words like the fastest driver in f1 and when in the zone he is unbeatable. I dont think he was talking about Nico or JB. So we have had praise from a 2xwdc who surcame to the driver he is complementing in 07 and now from Bundle and Lauda all we need is complements from Morecambe & Wise and i use the term wise loosely

F1 » Hamilton: It’s gloves off from now

Nicky Lauda who once said that Hamilton is the best rookie ever then called him mad due to his 2011 mishaps on the track is now saying he is the best driver in the world. I think this sums Hamilton's career up ups and downs, but when he is at his best he is the best. According to Brundle he is the fastest in F1 and when in the zone is unbeatable.
