richard, i think both DC and Brundle are good commentators. For me this season i have sometimes got lost with all the strategy and pit stops during a race and usually had to wait until everything pans out before getting to grips with the race again and i find these guy invaluable during a race as they can sum up and read what the teams may do and basically keep fans in touch to what is going on which you would expect from x f1 drivers but they both have quality oratory skills also. As for EJ i just cant take him seriously.

Dont think it is a case of Alonso or Ferarri blowing it, more like Alonso just being an observer in watching the Red Bull team working their magic in out developing and performing Ferrari Alonso is still driving brilliantly but the last few races has seen f1 technical ability being stronger than the best driver in f1 who needs his team to try and put the F2012 on an equal or similar performance footing as the RB8. Don't think it is a case of Alonso or Ferrari blowing it as that would sugest they lost the lead due to driver mistakes or car unreliability which has not been the case. Pat Fry was never more needed to come up with some magic in his F1 career than now.

richard, truly sorry if i have caused any offence with my comments in my last post, its just that while writing this credible and factual article i thought hang on im being a bit hard on DC in asking him to beat up Damon Hill in his debut season and when i tried to look for any driver to compare with DC attempting to do greatness in his first season i could only come up with you know who. But i deliberately did not mention this champion killing rookie because i did not want this type of reaction from other posters, it seems it did not work.
