F1 » F1: V6 engine ‘attracts new fanbase’

JedPB67: a child exposed to lengthy periods of this level of sound frequency will suffer pain and can suffer a ruptured eardrum. I know it's not why the engine rules came into place, but quiter engines are better for the physical and mental health of young F1 fans.
Yes it's amazing that F1 engine designers didn't consider kiddies ears before developing 1000bhp engines, then we have the well being of cats to consider too, my puss used to get a terrible fright when the V10's fired up, she'd bush up like a pompom and hide under the bed for an hour. Selfish inconsiderate bar stewards those engine designers! And if I extract my tongue from my cheek, if the above is an example of the new breed of fans these poxy engines are attracting do we really want them?

F1 » FIA considering Honda engine concessions

107SS2009: I really enjoy the company of all of you on here, you all push me to keep going, and thanks for that.
Thank you Sunny for the insight you readily share on this forum, I can honestly say I've learned more about F1 engineering reading your posts over the last few years than I have in the previous 35 years listening to "expert" F1 pundits and commentators.

rob01: In Austin they brought the V8 in the Bull for a street demo. Hornets in a glass jar comes to mind.
Got to be better than farting ducks. A team (Marussia I think it was) did a test at Cotswold airport a couple of years ago and I could hear the V8 clear as a bell from about 5 miles away! My cat bushed up like a pom.... nah I've already done that one.

F1 » Bianchi crash could change Malaysia start time

JedPB67: No not a 'fanboy' I'm just bored to hell of reading the same recurring, predictable, irrelevant and unnecessary comments about Hamilton.
Jed, a bit of advice - when I'm having a go at Lulu I generally do the decent thing and make it painfully obvious so that even the easily confused can get my point, absolutely no need to read between the lines. The other lads were right I was having a laugh with them about a previous poster who, along with his DOG was completely barking.

F1 » Bianchi crash could change Malaysia start time

ProfessorX: lolz. I guess, but the race can only last so long, and when it rains, it poors in Malaysia.
Yes it does poor (sic) but at that time of year it usually poors in the late afternoon and when it poors it usually only poors for an hour or two. So by starting the race early hopefully we'll miss the worst of the down poors.... And take some advice from Uncle Taipan, don't say lolz it honestly makes you sound like a small girl, unless of course you are a small girl if so lolz away.
