F1 » Rosberg strides to Bahrain win after Hamilton, Vettel drama

Has there ever been a reining champion who has watched his never won a championship team mate win 5 races in a row? Ha of course there hasn't silly question. So either.... 1. Nico is one of the greatest drivers ever. 2. Lulu is not all that. 3. It's the bloody car stoopid! Take your pick. Well done Kimi, and a great job by some of the "junior" drivers and teams, they give F1 some hope.

F1 » Rosberg strides to Bahrain win after Hamilton, Vettel drama

elijah: Stoffel Vandoorne what a debut . Out qualifying his much experienced team mate, and scoring a point not done since Vettel. Whow !
You don't quite have that stat right, as a debut NOT at the first race of the season he's the first since Vettel to score a point. IE Nasr and Magnussen both had better debuts at the first race of the season. Being pedantic aside it was a very impressive weekend from Vandoorne, nice to see a young driver with a lot of hype placed on him live up to it.

F1 » Bahrain Grand Prix - Race results

richard: if you listened to the commentary you would have heard the pundits stating that as long as the front wing was ahead of the rear wheel, then space had to be given, bottas front WHEEL was level with the centre of the car.
Different rules for Lulu mate, all four wheels off the track in Q3 - no action, reverse in the pit lane - pointless reprimand. Next thing he'll be riding along on his motorbike filming himself using his mobile phone and posting on his own instatwit account and the police will decide the evidence is inconclusive, oh wait that happened a fortnight ago....

F1 » Poor start scuppers Raikkonen race

Did anyone else hear the Channel 4 team (whom I have little faith in) claim yesterday that if Kimi got a podium this weekend he's be the first driver to claim 8 podiums at one GP venue? Schumacher 12 podiums at San Marino, Barcelona, Canada. Prost 10 podiums at Magny-Cours Senna 8 podiums at Monaco. And there are a few others. Anyway well done Kimi on a strong weekend.
