F1 » Horner certain ‘frustrated’ Vettel will respond

rob01: ramming a competitor last race while a lap down. is that the performance you speak of?
Funny Rob, If Lulu had done that the driver in front would have been guilty of blocking in your mind, remember Massa at Monaco, Button at Canada, Lulu drove right up their ar$e and was completely innocent in your book. In saying that Lulu has been completely innocent of absolutely everything since 2007 in your book....

F1 » Horner: Mateschitz deserves Austria praise

Mateschitz deserves huge credit for giving something back to the sport, plenty of people have made huge amounts of money in F1 but wouldn't give a sausage back in terms of the fans or for the future of F1. F1zone are reporting - "Mercedes made a mockery of Red Bull after sealing a one-two at the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday by refusing to acknowledge the circuit at Spielberg by its new name and devising campaigns that gave no exposure to the nomenclature." Classless.

F1 » Lauda: ‘Alarm bells are ringing’

I agree with Richard on the Dan and JEV comparison, they were very close as team mates. Nobody could say one looked like a future champion and the other looked like an also ran. I'm not sure what's made Dan step up so much this season but he has been arguably driver of the season so far. It's funny because most would have said Alonso, Vettel, Kimi and Lulu were the 4 stand out drivers going into this season (and their salary's would echo that claim) yet 3 of the 4 are being well beaten, albeit reliability issues have played a part (in Vettel's case!)

F1 » Rosberg: Drivers will always hide advantage

Nick101: I just really, really don't understand the hype around Hamilton, I really don't. So tell me again why Hamilton is so good?
Firstly, he keeps telling people that he is so good, and plenty are daft enough to believe him even though the facts say different. Secondly, his debut season (deservedly) generated a lot of hype and expectation and some still cling to that, even though he has never delivered on that expectation since and that includes 2008 when his only competition was Massa in a slower Ferrari and he still required a huge slice of luck to win by the smallest margin.

F1 » Horner slams Renault failings

here4thesun2: Ahh, Jackie. Best color commentator that the US has ever seen (heard). He needs to do a guest appearance on NBCSN opposite David Hobbes for a grand prix race.
When did Jackie commentate in the US? He stood in for a few races on the BBC after James Hunt died, and I agree with you he was excellent. He may not be everyone's favourite person but as a pundit on TV he obviously had a far deeper understanding of F1 than any pundit I've heard before or since.
