F1 » Red Bull appeal date set

Rob, A bit of proof there about how objective your views of right and wrong can or cannot be. A certain driver lies (and is deemed guilty of doing so by the FiA) about the course of events to gain a podium - Completely innocent entirely someone else's fault, in your eyes. A certain team appeals getting thrown out of a race based on evidence from a dodgy sensor - Guilty as sin, not a leg to stand on, in your eyes.

Rob, Since you were silly enough to refer to me as thick, lets rip the sh*t out of your last post just for the hell of it. I defend Alonso to the nth degree, Oh really? I was actually against Ferrari signing him, him telling Dennis to sabotage Lulu's car - completely out of order from him, bad mouthing Ferrari last season - I was one of the first on Crash to condemn him for it. So I think we can safely say the first part of your post was just your imagination taking control of your brain, again. As for your next assumption, I'm in the same boat as Richard, I've never said they were in the right or wrong during the race, I have said they should appeal because this issue needs to be cleared up properly because there is obviously a problem. On this issue I'll leave others to jump to conclusions and pre-empt the outcome based firmly on their belief that they know better than some of the brightest minds in F1.

Nice to see you admit you were wrong with your previous assumptions Rob, oh wait no you just blanked it. Hmm jumping to conclusions, making unfounded allegations and never admitting being wrong must be the new "intelligent" Were you shocked that a team like Mercedes would ever sign a "man" like Lulu? Oh I forgot he's innocent, of everything!

Sunny, I borrowed Rob's sexy spurs, they're doing a fine job of keeping me and the fence as one. As for the outcome, I honestly don't have a preference between RBR and the FiA. What I want is the best outcome for F1, if there is even a slight chance that a car can be DQ'd based on information that is not accurate I think we have a problem. Once I've heard all of the evidence and testimony from people who know more about it than me then I'll make a decision on who's right.

richard: ty. following your comment, I have just thought of something...... do the stewards actually have a right to dsq a car that they have already passed as being legal? I know that they can apply penalties, but am unsure if this can include dsq.
Interesting point, then of course we also have other teams saying Charlie advised them during the race to adjust their flow, so other cars were also breaking the 100kg/h limit? So all the cars pass scutineering but they need advisories during the race from Charlie to keep them legal and the part that's caused all the trouble is FiA supplied. Oh yeah, not a leg to stand on....

F1 » Hamilton looking for home win in Malaysia

When you think of it almost a third of the season is a "home" race for Lulu. Germany - Because that's Mercedes home. Malaysia - Because that's where the sponsor comes from. Silverstone - Because he was born a few miles away. Monaco - Because he lives there(because he's to famous to live in Britain) Brazil - Because he thinks he's Senna the second. USA - Because he thinks he's an American, man.

Rob, No he didn't quite say that. Yes he did mention the sporting values and the politics but he also mentioned the direction F1 has taken and is rather concerned that GP2 is almost as fast on a fraction of the budget. So IF they can prove they used less than 100kg/h they are guilty of using more than 100kg/h in your opinion because the stewards say so? I can't really see the sense in that. I can't help think your black and white judgement of this case may be slightly greyer (or should that be silverier) if the team in question wasn't called Red Bull, or Red Bunk as you like to put it.
