107SS2009: Taipan seems to have got the gist of it all straight away, and as he said there is no rules limiting turbo boost or limiting maxpower RPM to 10500, the maximum they use, the fuel flow rate restriction takes care of both or better say dictates both.
To be honest Sunny other than reading your posts (thanks for the info) I haven't spent any time learning about these PU's, I just don't have the same interest in them as I did with previous engines. Firstly I'm not very interested in electronics so the energy recovery doesn't do anything for me, although I except that it's all very clever. In addition the IC engine is a shadow of what an F1 engine used to be, all thanks to the fuel flow limit. A small V6 spinning at 10 or 11k rpm is just doesn't float my boat in they was that a 3L V10 screaming at 20k rpm did. It's all a bit sad really.

As I said in an earlier post possibly JEV is not the best employee, maybe he doesn't communicate, give feed back, help in development as well as others, I have no clue if that's true but there must be some reason that he gets over looked and it's something other than what he does on a Sunday. Going back to an earlier post claiming that Dan qualified better therefore JEV had more tyres for race days, I've looked into it and that's complete boll*cks but I can't be bothered to type up all the stats on the subject, but trust me the tyre advantage was negligible.
