F1 » F1: Ricciardo wanted respect in 2014

areyoutalkingjibber: You may think that, but thrn again you may well be lacking in intellect, so, Hush now fool. I'm able to produce a picture of myself standing on the grid in front of Mr Ricciardo's car with less than a minute to start time at an international series event long before most of you had ever heard of him. Can you?
So a photo of yourself in front of Ricciardo's car BEFORE he was in F1 proves that Red Bull run 2 specs of car? Wow that's incredible and certainly proves your superior intellect. (not to mention imagination) Not that I would want to boast but I can produce a photo of me with my cat which certainly questions Einstein's theory of relativity.....

F1 » F1: Ricciardo wanted respect in 2014

areyoutalkingjibber: Yawn, gosh horror predictive text error, wow! They run an A car & B car, loads of teams have done, loads of teams will do. Webber & before him Coulthard were often making allusions to the fact. Dan got the A car this year because he's their future,if they're very close on pace and temperament during races next year the A car will go to the one with the biggest marketing appeal. Kyvat needs to be a damn sight quicker cause Riciardo's an unaffected pretty boy media godsend
Well you can produce a photo of yourself next to "a racing car" so who am I to question such an industry insider?

F1 » F1: Hamilton wins Sports Personality of the Year

richard: yet one of the sunday papers had their supplement (which was printed mid week) dedicated to lulu, bbc "sportsperson of the year"!! now, how on earth could they know that days before the poll was closed, and also have lulu sit for glamour photos? HHHHMMMMMMMMMM!
REALLY? When I seen his grand entrance with DOG I did say to Mrs T that he must have the result in the bag, there's no way someone as fragile as Lulu would have turned up if there was a chance of finishing 4th.

F1 » Red Bull has ‘real desire’ to catch Mercedes

richard: as it is now off season and we are discussing engines, in the early 1900s there was a rotary engine that spun all cylinders around a fixed crankshaft. i cannot remember the name or maker, but whereas electrics probably used slip rings for ignition , how was the fuel provided to the cylinders and / or carbs?
I remember Sunny telling us about this type of engine a couple of years ago, I couldn't really get my head around it! But as he's just said (Thanks Sunny) if inside a wheel it's easier to imagine the thing in operation. Is that the Natural History Museum in Kensington Sunny? Been there a couple of times but don't remember seeing the engines, maybe I was just traumatised by the dinosaurs! :)
