F1 » Frustrated Horner convinced engine criteria won’t be met

richard: the day of the non hybrid n/a engine is over! its called progress
Other examples of progress include landing on the Moon (we haven't been back for 40 odd years) Concorde (now in a museum with no replacement on the horizon) the blue ray player (now on ebay for 25 quid) I agree with Horner, the criteria won't be met and the powers that be wont really give a toss.

F1 » Vettel slams “suicidal” Kvyat for driving “like a crazy”

I think Vettel is pissed off because he was trying to avoid contact with Kimi but Kvyat's move made that impossible. BUT Kvyat had the right to go for that gap and Vettel over reacted to the move and I'm pretty sure Vettel knew he over reacted because he calmed down quite a lot by the time the press interviews were happening, probably because he'd seen a replay. Great drive by Vettel to get second though and a bloody good race, didn't expect to be saying that!

F1 » Hamilton has 'no more jokers left' after ‘horrifying race’

To be fair he's had nothing but good luck his entire career, from McLaren financing his junior days, being given a race winning car in F1 from day one, the gifted 2008 championship, then the unbeatable Merc and a team mate who was unable/not allowed to race him. It's about time he had a bad run and I hope it continues, maybe it will make him more #blessed #humble and all that crap.

F1 » Frustrated Horner convinced engine criteria won’t be met

richard: finally, i see that you are agreeing with that REALLY is progress !
Richard To my knowledge I've never been a serial disagree(er) of Horner But as Nick said earlier if the mandate is improving the show and the sound and reduce the costs then V8's tick those boxes perfectly. Hybrid power is very clever I admire it but as a racing spectacle it's been utter sh*t so far and prohibitively over priced. And lets not forget that the whole point of hybrid power is saving fuel which is completely at odds with F1 racing as far as I'm concerned.
