F1 » Honda can develop F1 engine in 2015

Rob, How would Alonso know which PU was worst? He didn't drive the Renault unit. I think out of the top teams Ferrari built the poorest car but it's problems lay deeper than just the PU. Anyway I can't ask Alonso as he doesn't return my emails, I take it he returns yours? The FIA got it completely wrong last year with development restrictions, ok the teams agreed to it so it's their fault as well but to create a situation where a team could come to the first race with a 2 second advantage and nobody could do a thing about it for the rest of the year was crazy. They are going some way to try and prevent that this year by giving everyone opportunities to develop, not just Ferrari.

F1 » Mercedes to investigate ‘unacceptable’ start issues

ProfessorX: The problem is lying and blowing your starts only keeps Merc in front. Merc will blow their power units up and flub their starts to keep the rules in their favour. They do not want competition, funny thing about a lie/self-deception and how people will do just about anything to protect it.
So merc intentionally pox up their starts to keep things interesting? I see your troubled mind hasn't improved any PCX.

F1 » Allison: When you’ve got good pace...

Ferrari may not have the pace of the merc but they do have a couple of things in their favour, firstly they are not run by Toto and Nikki and secondly they have Vettel driving the car rather than Lulu and Nico, both definite plus points. The merc muppets could implode at any time so opportunities will arise, keep improving the Ferrari and Vettel will deliver. The championship is a very long shot but who knows.

F1 » F1 2015 driver salaries published – but who earns most?

Alonso and Vettel have proven themselves to be the best drivers in F1 over recent years so they deserve to be the best paid. But.... F1 is no longer a drivers championship, it's only about the car so there's no point paying for the great drivers because the difference they can bring to the table is minimal compared to the cars overall performance or lack of it. To cut a long story short F1 has lost it's way in so many ways. Hope it finds its way again soon.

rob01: So I take it you don't think the FIA was appeasing Ferrari. They put the worst PU on the grid. Please tell me you don't believe there was a loophole. You're very bright so this should be interesting.
Your comment that I replied to was about Newey, which has nothing to do with Ferrari. As for last season I think the Renault was the worst PU not the Ferrari unit, although the Renault unit certainly caught up during the season. As for this year I don't think anyone is appeasing Ferrari, they (the FIA) are attempting to avoid another season like last. ie one with absolutely no hope of competition. The relaxing of the PU development can assist Ferrari, Honda and Renault but it could also assist Mercedes, not everything is a conspiracy to benefit Ferrari. But thanks for the "bright" comment, heart felt I'm sure xx :)

F1 » Bianchi was primed as Ferrari’s Raikkonen replacement

rob01: Ferrari has not given a red seat to a protege driver for decades.
Are you forgetting Massa Rob? Tit- Perhaps you didn't notice Jules prior to his accident, perhaps you frequently fail to notice obvious talent regardless of substandard equipment, perhaps you should keep your views secret in future to save embarrassing yourself? Hello everyone, I've been missing for a while hope you are all well. Thanks for the welcome back on the other thread Sunny I'm well hope you are too.

F1 » Honda can develop F1 engine in 2015

Omnicorse are claiming that Merc will not be using the 2014 engine at the first 4 races but will be using the new engine. It also claims that... "The 2015 engine will be significantly different this year, including a new Bosch injection system capable of turbo pressure to the regulations-maximum of 500 bar. The Mercedes’ 2014 turbo was limited to little more than half that figure." Is there a point in doubling turbo pressure when they are boost limited due to fuel? Sunny?
