F1 » Force India: Lotus a 'stumbling block' on driver front

I don't at all feel they are going to sign up just for money - that team has been much more mature of the lot in my opinion. I guess Perez is pretty much done as martin whitmarsh has spilled the beans but they will not announce and sign it yet - which clearly says they are awaiting on Hulkenberg, Fernely just confirmed it. If Hulk goes to Lotus or stays as Sauber they will prolly retain Di Resta and take on Perez. - Pastor at Force India is very unlikely, he himself will rather try for Sauber

F1 » Fernley: We can be proud of our performance in 2013

Hulk and Perez looks like a great pairing but not sure how good that would be in terms of development of the new tech. car through the next few years especially that neither is likely to stay put with few possible opening in top teams. But then complete line up overhaul is best done at this time where spec change will take everyone some time to find traction

F1 » Di Resta will consider options

@Nickfox I guess they have already shown interest in 2 year deal with Hulk..understandably Hulk might just want to settle in for 1 year with possible options at McLaren and Lotus and even Red Bull or Ferrari if the 2014 pairings dont work out. On Di Resta...I guess Fi will replace only if they can get Hulk. Not for Perez even with his money. And definitely not for Pastor.

F1 » Hulkenberg 'turns down Lotus', Kovalainen in frame

tho Lotus may still try for Hulk for 2014....with Perez falling out as well the overall picture keeps getting better for Sauber and Force India. they are spoiled for choice but they should still hit the timing correct and not leave it for too late....cars are designed keeping driver profiles and their driving styles in mind to some extent Whenever Hulk goes they will try to lock him for at least two years...for Perez prolly one year

F1 » Webber: The right time to stop

People continuing the usual brawl but ultimately these are outsider conclusions (unless team bosses have the secret accounts here! who knows?!!) I think everyone here will agree that Mark Webber is a great driver and personality. Maybe not outright fastest in this era of regulations but regardless he enjoys his racing from his heart over spending hours listing down excuses...and a great sportsman even outside F1. Forever Fan
