F1 » Bianchi deal to unite Force India, Ferrari?

I honestly don't think they would want to switch ...unlike Merc, Ferrari will bring unwanted pressure on track if a Force India out-qualifies A Ferrari @Josh That is partially true..if there are too many concerns, they might put off customer like FI who otherwise depend upon consistency rather than a few stellar performances @Richard You cant say Merc has had any less good year than Ferrari in that department. In fact aside of Cosworth if there were any questions raised were with Renault with KERS cooling issues (least for RBR) with already smaller KERS units and overall less power. Actually Cosworth weren't falling apart but it just did not matter! :)

F1 » Vote for your 2012 F1 Driver of the Year

It might come as a surprise but I gave my top honors to NICO HULKENBURG... If you see, SFI car did develop in the 2nd half of the season but it had no right to land in top 5 so consistently, partially proved by PDR (Who by no means a slow driver, if less exciting). I think Hulk did an excellent job,he showed pace, was level headed w/o any stupid mistakes on & off the track (crash with Hami was just a bad luck for them both). If McLaren had not hurried in signing Mexican sponsorship, they would have considered Hulk strongly. He is much more suited to Mecca's character than Perez

F1 » Maldonado targets title with Williams

Did Paster say that himself?!! Really? That sounds slightly sensible! He can wait for few years to start dreaming @ WDC. He has the pace but to win championship you need temperament and maturity as a person not just as a racer. It seems like a far cry currently. Same goes for Williams..they have improved a lot but they are not anywhere near title now. Even Force India beat them in championship w/o ever appearing on podium. I guess CONSISTENCY is the key Sauber & Williams never found. In 2014 though once cant predict how the pieces are going to be shuffled...

F1 » Latest F1 2013 driver line-up

Kobayashi will need to find some sponsorship regardless how many yens are donated for his drive..otherwise some team will take the money-keep him for one year and ditch him whatever he does in that one year. Force India seems to be good bet for two reasons- 1. Up till now they have never recruited basis sponsorship money (though there must be some minimum expectation) 2. If they wanted Sutil or Heikki, they would not have waited so long to announce. My guess is they will probe what Kobi-san and Alguersuari are bringing in and then decide. Less likely but they may get ALL NEW LINEUP with multi-year contracts looking at 2014 regulations change

F1 » Donations roll in for Kobayashi

@mike I doubt Toyota will sponsor Kobi driving a mercedes powered car...especially after being in F1 themselves. KK doesn't have born famous personality or any political leverages like Petrov to gather funds...thats no way connected to his driving talent but thats where motorsports (F1 in particular) stands today
