F1 » First image of new Williams revealed

Looking at this computer image of a car... I just through up in my mouth a little... THAT. IS. HIDEOUS. Sunny - the reason there is fuss about the looks of the cars now is because there's nothing else to fuss over! :) They haven't run yet and all of us F1 junkies need to be opinionated about something - might as well be the Barbara Streisand inspired design of the Williams.

F1 » Kobayashi to drive for free at Caterham

@Brain and Shamarone - what the hell do you mean "precedent"? Have you been following F1 for all of about five minutes? Ever heard of pay drivers? If anything, Kobayashi and Caterham are setting a GOOD example. Unlike Lotus, Tony Fernandez has chosen to sign up talent over cash which is a great outcome for the sport. That being said, not all those paying for their seat are poor drivers.

F1 » Ferrari confirms launch date

I read F14 T as Grumman F14 Tomcat... Damn fine aircraft, for the '70s. I don't like any of the F14 options for that reason. The best has to be F166 Turbo for the reason that Ty mentioned - it's a return to Ferrari's unique and elegant descriptive nomenclature. Name the car for the car, not the year it was made... how boring a name is F2012? F138 is a bit more like it. 412 T1, 248 F1 and 312B - much better.

F1 » Penalty points confirmed in new F1 rules

Dear authors and editors - 'thru' is not a word, you lazy excuses for journalists. You completely undermine any credibility you have as reporters of facts when you insist on misspelling words that a 12 year old knows how to spell. The addition of an apostrophe in place of half of the letters in the word is not an excuse. You're spelling out numbers under 10 (correctly), so why skimp out out on 'through'? I expect more from a website that expects to be taken seriously as motosports reporter.

F1 » Penalty points confirmed in new F1 rules

Why drop the 12 points following a suspension? That makes no sense at all. Say Maldonado has been up to his old hi-jinks of ramming all and sundry off the track at every race. He gets, for example, two points for each transgression at the first six races, is banned for the seventh race, then at the eighth through twelfth races he gets no penalty? That's ridiculous. Surely he should get the ban, keep the points and suffer a harsher penalty if he continues with the poor behaviour, not get off scott free on the next five occasions.
