MotoGP » Rossi: 12 points to Lorenzo, but Marquez ‘very far’

true enough for marc... but with jorge though, calling it "just 12 pints" is an understatement... yesterday, one could say jorge could potentially open a 12 points gap on Rossi (if Rossi ended 4th)...but now Rossi's 12 in front...totally makes a difference of 24 points 24 points is a lot....if Rossi could add to this 12 in Misano (say make it 17-21), he may well win the championship

MotoGP » Viñales tops Suzuki one-two, Pedrosa into Q1 be fair lorenzo didnt use a new tire at the end of fp2 he probably started fp3 with that new tire....that explains his fast run whats interesting is the way he goes a tenth down every lap.....i guess what will be really important is the pace, once 10 laps are over in the race marc put on a new tire in the thats why he had a long run of 1.41's rest all put a new tire in the end... on a side note, lorenzo seemed to be more of a hindrance to yonny than a tow...atleast thats how it looked on TV

MotoGP » Rossi and Marquez: Racing incident

i know marc tried to come back straight away on Rossi but IMO his method was plain stupid he first tried to do a lorenzo on rossi but rossi didnt leave him any room... so instead of backing off, he barged into rossi...what exactly was he trying there ??? to take rossi out ?? unsettle him maybe ? rossi's bike flick was abrupt ( or unsettled :P) but from the way he looked at his right (& confirm marc wasnt there), it seemed more of a block than a seems he was following that same line all race long and would have done the same had marc not pushed him off line, which explains the abrupt nature of the flick marc miscalculated and paid dearly for it.....while i know marc is an all or nothing type and it has won him quite a bit in the past, he could have waited for the next braking point (where the honda would have been stronger)

MotoGP » Dovizioso beats Rossi in battle

credit to Dovi for managing his tires well....he rode well that being said, i think argentina this year will be different... Austin is easily the worst track for Yamaha...every lap, Rossi had to create some sort of gap in the corners in order to prevent Dovi from overtaking him on the straights....and these are slow corners i am talking about ( the 1st section )...and the fact that his front tire was half shredded didnt help Argentina however has a straight which comes after a 3rd gear corner. So the straight wont be that much of a disadvantage. It is also a lot more flowing track. Marc still took pole by 7 tenth last year which is huge... I would bet my money on a marc, vale, lorenzo 1-2-3 not necessarily in that order...Dovi would be close but towards the end he could lose the edge grip like in qatar

MotoGP » FIRST LOOK: Ducati’s 2015 MotoGP machine

hmm....the bike looks wider....atleast near the middle portion where there is a if its meant to cover the legs to improve aerodynamics wonder what the side intakes on the front fairing are for ? off the two bikes they showed, those side intakes were only present on one while i know this bike is supposed to improve turning, can they retain their braking/ accelerating ability...from what we see normally, its always a balance or a compromise of does increasing turning reduce the braking ? will be interesting. Dovis quotes : "I always said I never expected us to improve as much as we did last year and before that I never believed that we could fight for a title. But with the improvements last year I now believe that we could fight for the championship. It doesn't mean that we will this year because we have to try the new bike and the competitors are really quick. When you change something big like with the new bike anything can happen.”
