MotoGP » Lorenzo calls Rossi's 'strategy' into question

Lorenzo feels Marc didnt help since he took 5 points off him Rossi feels cheated because he believed he had the pace to defeat Lorenzo and gain a bigger lead in the championship...He was however slowed by Marc on some laps The race analysis pdf shows Rossi's fastest lap 4 tenths quicker than Lorenzo...he posted 7 laps faster than Lorenzo's quickest lap which is a quarter of the whole race distance From the look of it, without the scraps/ slowing down, Rossi had the better pace. So I think he did lost out more assuming Marc did actually slow him

MotoGP » Honda: This was our biggest mistake…

Honda may have come out in support of Marc...which is as they should since he runs for them But the faces of the Honda members after the race (when marc came in) were completely smug...they totally expected Pedrosa to win the race...and the fact that Marc obstructed him and didnt even attempt a pass on Lorenzo didnt seem to make leave them happy...marc was the only one who had half a smile on his face (maybe because Rossi lost the championship)...even pedrosa felt a bit dissapointed as he believed he had the pace for the win at the end of the day, lorenzo was very fast throughout and is a deserving champion...however, it should have ended that way without on track interference by marc...he should have let rossi's words pass or simply responded off track...words are wind

MotoGP » EXCLUSIVE: Nicolas Goubert (Michelin) - Q&A

warm up crashes are a problem once you solve general crashing....currently many riders seem to crash "without any warning" from the michs i think thats their priority...better warm up, tyre life etc are tweaks you do later on the thing that worries me is their front had issues from the start of this year and it still is the same...what can they do in these 4 months..i hope they find something...else next year's title may be decided by who crashes the least...although as a plus, none of the top riders (except marc) crashed in the last test

MotoGP » Lorenzo perfectly poised after FP2 swoop

I think Lorenzo and Pedrosa went with their old morning mediums early on and put a new tire at the end Rossi and Marc put a new hard early on and put in their morning medium at the end to compare Rossi's pace looks good..considering how many people call this his weak track...good start for him what will be worrying for him is Pedrosa seems slower than normal..it may be lorenzo sandwiched between Hondas on Sunday...unless Rossi is really quick and Pedrosa struggles enough for rossi to overtake him...really depends how well rossi recovers on the first lap

MotoGP » ‘Time is a gentleman’ in Marquez, Rossi rift

the only thing with honda/marc's explanation is there are a few points which just dont add up... 1. marc knew pedrosa was coming....from 6-7 laps to go ,pedrosa was clearing cutting the gap by 2-3 tenths every lap 2. marc was really close to the back wheel of lorenzo (so close that it actually seemed like lorenzo was slowing him down) in turn 5 or 6 i think...this happened for 4-5 laps in a row 3. on the 2nd last lap, pedrosa was so close that marc (if not through the pit board) probably heard his bike...he still didnt make a move in turn 5 4. coming from 14 overtakes in 2 laps to not one move in 30 laps, it doesnt add up...if marc really wanted to win, he just had to slow lorenzo..and the easiest way to do that is overtake him and mess his lines / corner speed

MotoGP » Rossi: Shame to see Bridgestone go

honestly...next year with the single electronics, tires and rules (engines and all), it would have been a really awesome chance for a level playing field (with bridgetsones) seeing how mitchellins seem to be causing unexpected crashes, there is a chance that next years title may depend largely on luck..Yamaha seems to be the most stable bike and even their riders crashed so many times during testing..and thats still testing..think how someone like Marc will fare when pushing to the max.... and I am still not considering f*ck ups which happen due to lack of data about the track..like a Philip Island like scenario where Mitch may bring in a wrong tire compund real shame...

MotoGP » Honda withholds Sepang clash data

someone from HRC should have sat down with Marc and told him to not let Rossi's words affect his behaviour on track shame they didnt shame what happened happened now its too late...Rossi starts last and lets see what drama unfolds on Sunday PS.on a side note..maybe its just me but wasnt Marc actually leaning into the corner when he touched Rossi..HRC seem to think he was picking the bike.pfft...and they say they have data...well didnt see to do them much good now did it..

MotoGP » Lorenzo calls Rossi's 'strategy' into question

99Bunny: Valentino at one point of time was second.....(simpl
honestly, i just posted some facts about race pace....i am not really sure about what marc intended to do... yeah..even i wondered why rossi didnt catch him down when he was second...maybe it had to do with the fact that iannone overtook him down the straight...then rossi did the same to him at MG...their scrap ruined any chances of catching lorenzo marc said he overheated his tires when opening a gap to lorenzo...but there was a moment when all 4 riders were close mid race...then marc suddenly sits up and slows on the racing line and looks behind...that did seem to slow rossi and iannone down...3 corners later lorenzo opened up a decent gap..it all looks murky...i have no idea what to make out...
