MotoGP » Dovizioso fears Yamaha hopes scuppered by Rossi

while dovi has had a good run this year on the satellite bike...there are other things to consider 1st is his no. of wins last year on the honda...did he get any ??im not sure fact is honda was the dominating bike last year and dovi was never a threat for the win or even 2nd for that matter....he spent most of the year fighting for 4th...so its not that he didnt have a chance secondly, dovi has managed good places this year but ask yourself why ? ben spies has wasted the factory bike till now which could potentially be finishing ahead of him everytime there have been a few races in which one of the top 3 have crashed or run off and the fact that this is the 1st year of the 1000cc...so basically the diff. between the factory bike and sat. bike is not so much as it usually is.... rossi on the other hand may be a constant threat which is why i ffeel he should get the bike for the sake of the championship

MotoGP » Rossi: Money 'not important' in 2013 decision

basically ducati has a problem of getting in changes fast... half of this season is gone....even if they manage to fix the bike by year end, fact is that the bike will remain good for only one year.....2014 onwards there seem to be some major changes proposed which include a rev limit so how does that affect only ducati... well firstly, the reason ducati tops the speed charts everytime is because the desmodromic valve system in the ducati engine allows it to reach high rpm's.....so where hondas reach 15k...ducatis are 17k....at mugello, where the hondas were going with 9k rpm, the ducatis used to be atleast 12k....so you put in the rev limit and ducatis only advantage goes poof..... secondly...rev limit = new engine building time = 10 races for ducati

MotoGP » Rossi to discuss Ducati future in 'next week'

yamaha only need a title sponsor which may be why they want rossi...other than that they dont need him... rossi hasnt got that bad that he needs to pay for his bike in the form of a sponsor.... ducati needs him and with audi it may be that the problems get solved faster... besides with yamaha, all he may get is more wins(which he doesnt lack)..he already has the most wins/titles.....with ducati though if they get the bike sorted, the championship may get more interesting with 6 bikes that could fight for the title

MotoGP » Audi: Ducati remains Ducati

the problem is that ducati isnt as big as honda or yamaha....they dont have the resources to make new chassis, engines etc as fast as honda can..... thats one way audi can help out.... technically,as already mentioned, i dont think audi can help out much..... but audi wants the ducati to sell more and seeing how the sales have risen last year, if they manage to get the ducati working by providing necessary resources, the sales will go sky high......

MotoGP » Rossi promises 'extra special' effort at Mugello

i myself wanted rossi to switch biks next year but think rationally honda is gone for him to get a yamaha, he has to get a title sponsor which is equal to buying himself in......i dont think its a good idea switch to a bike for which a person such as rossi needs to buy himself in.....he hasnt fallen that low that leaves the ducati....ducati need him...they will pay him well too and fact is we need 3 championship winning bikes out there.....2 is just too less...and rossi has enough wins, titles already...he might as well stay at ducati and leave a positive end to his career by improving the bike....with audi i think work should get done faster
