MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP: Lorenzo wins - Rossi, Marquez steal the show

Finally, we're down to laps in anger. That was great to watch. This kid Marquez is the real deal. Up against guys who have years on the bike and he does the business. Good to see Rossi finally get past the satellite machines and catch up to the factory bikes albeit the struggling Hondas. He got spanked by his team-mate but that's enough to send the yellow panty brigade wild - too funny. Great ride from Lorenzo. Pedrosa will not be feelig good. Great to see Dovi put some heart into the Duke with a great qually and gutsy first few laps. Now that Rossi and Marquez have gotten some first race nerves out of their system, let's hope we see them actually racing for the position that matters in the races to come.

MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP: Rossi dazzles on Yamaha return

After looking like a rookie for the first couple of laps, Rossi showed what a great racer he is. True, he might only have caught the satellite machine and the lesser, struggling Hondas, but when it comes to putting in great race laps, there's no doubting Rossi's abilities. He probably learnt more about his new machine in that race than everything so far in testing, so I imagine he's going to get closer and closer to Jorge as each race passes.

MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP: Traffic jam costs Rossi in qualifying

Headaches. Traffic. If it was Stoner, the yellow panty brigade would be yelling "moaner". But, according to them, Val does it all so cheerfully, it really is not the same thing. Yeah, right. Great effort by Lorenzo and Pedrosa today, really pulled something out of the bag. Surprised by Rossi's and Marquez's performances in qually but would not be suprised to see both near the front in the race. Might be wishful thinking for this race, but I was really looking forward to them both taking it up to Lorenzo and Pedrosa this year.

MotoGP » Sepang MotoGP test times - Tuesday (Final)

Very impressive from Marquez. There have been a lot of 250/moto2 champions that have moved up and fizzled. I had similar doubts about Marquez. He erased a lot of those doubts today. At a minimum, he's going to ruffle some feathers and there's a chance he may win the damn thing. I'll be glued to my TV. Rossi likes physical racing? I think that is what Marquez will deliver. Should be interesting. It will be four-way racing, but I think a three-way battle for the championship between Jorge, Rossi and Marquez. Dani hardened up last year but I have the feeling he will crumble this year.

MotoGP » Stoner: Rossi has 'done nothing but complain'

Stoner is 100% correct. Both Rossi and his team made numerous derogatory comments critical of both Stoner and his team. In the end, every one of those comments was shown to be stupid and wrong, and there has never been a serious, genuine attempt to make ammends for those comments on the same scale as the comments themselves. I'll always be in awe of Rossi as a racer but comments like those along with other comments and assorted behaviour over the years has led me to despise Rossi the man.
