F1 » Horner calls for engine equalisation amid Renault struggles

What about Horner moaning about tyres twa years ago that he couldn't make work but other teams (inc Force India) could. He moaned so much that he got his (I called them "Red Bull spec") tyres back and then he was happy as they were winning everything again, But the teams that developed their cars to make them work on them, were at a disadvantage going to the old tyres. If Red Bull is not dominant, Change the rules till they are? Don't think so.

F1 » Honda can develop F1 engine in 2015

Sounds like Williams need to get as many points as they can at the start of the season then. I think that all the teams should have been allowed to evolve their engines last year, they were all to use a new small engine with a view to forward technology and efficiency that can be relevant to all motor vehicles. I honestly believe that last year's season lost out because of the ban, it could have meant that the Mercedes engine - ended up even further ahead, OR it might have ended up second best? who knows. It would have good to see that battle also.

F1 » Smedley: Alonso not a disruptive character

I believe Alonso is one of the best all round drivers there has ever been. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the comments above about how he is out of the car. I think he believes he will never be a champion again if he stays at Ferrari, and I would agree (for the next year or 2 anyway) He has just competed against a young driver who won 4 World Drivers Championships in a row. I honestly believe that Alonso is a better driver than Vettel. (always have!) I can't blame him for wanting to try another team, how many years will he race for now? I would personally like to see him at Williams.

F1 » Smedley: Alonso not a disruptive character

@ Richard. Yes I know history books will have Vettel as one of the greatest ever, BUT I honestly believe that Alonso (and Lewis) are the better drivers of this era. He has had more than the best out of his car at various times in the last couple of years. Vettel has not done so well without the aero package advantage he has been used to this last 4? years. In my opinion Vettel has made the very best use out of the very best car on the grid for the last while, firmly making him the stand out name from this era in the sport (post Schumacher dominance) Saying that, with drivers like Bottas and Kyvatt coming through it will all change again. I have been a fan of F1 for over 20 years, and I am not a hater of any driver, I was just giving my honest opinion as I see it.

F1 » Hamilton: Reliability all that can stop me

Oh, my opinion of Lewis is that for the first couple of years, I thought he was one of the very best ever in the making. I think he has lost a bit of raw speed as his celebrity lifestyle has grown, and I don't think that he has fully been on it since he never made the fool of Jenson everyone (including me!) thought he would. That is my opinion, i'm not a hater of any of the drivers. (well, that said i'm not a huge fan of Sutil?)
