F1 » Whitmarsh not thinking of quitting

I hope something positive happens soon. Whitmarsh has to be replaced . He brings nothing to the team. Why hasn't he taken some of his own advice to Perez ,and man up . Its clear ,when at Mclaren, Hamilton's ability to gain those extra places simply served to flatter Whitmarsh's abysmal leadership. 2012 saw Hamilton on pole leaving Button down in 11th. 2013 Perez 9th and Button the self proclaimed team leader down in 14th. Eddie Jordan calls Perez " the new man at Mclaren " and "Jenson needs to up his game". Well ,when Whitmarsh goes he must take his under performing no grip team leader with him. Ron, please come back, please come back.

F1 » Hamilton: Vettel won’t run away with it

Hamilton should know by now qualifying is not worth a penny if the advantage cannot be maintained or built on during the race. Rosberg dramatically showed us this in his backward passage at Bahrain, which came despite the fact that its now four races into the season so tyre knowledge should be improving. However ,Vettel in terms of starting position, had his worst race at the season opener, Australia ,and has improved or maintained position ever since. Not being on pole has not hurt him, so Vettel in the Red Bull is going to be damn hard to beat. On Whitmarsh, Gary Anderson sites Whitmash's poor leadership, failure to instruct Button to let his faster teammate pass as the reason why Button had to make the extra pit stop and Perez loosing an extra place. This cost the team points. I agree with Anderson.
