F1 » Vettel wins F1 2013 Malaysian GP

@Richard, I hate team orders but rules are rules. In the case of Hamilton Nico , and Webber Vettel, all pitstops are out of the way and as you know at that stage, the driver in front is usually given preference over the driver behind. So they were told hold station , since the teams would get no points advantage. Vettel, true to past form did his own thing.

F1 » Button takes hope from Alonso issues

If Button does not want to be totally out of the championship a change to the old car is his only hope. He will then have all of last years setups to draw on, which is half as good as having Hamilton back on side for this season. Be it Hamilton or Barrichello, Button needs someone with more setting up ability to turn round a car.

F1 » McLaren issues Red Bull apology

@richard, the software failure cost Webber points, and it was just the first race of the season. I would be surprised if some re-occurrence of this problem does not arise again during the season. All teams use the same software, so I would like the new ECU/software to be replaced with the old reliable ones before more points are lost. It seems obvious McLaren knew of this possible problem because they said it would be corrected before the race began, which it wasn't. The last thing we want to see is the drivers results affected by these glitches when we have a reliable alternative.
