MotoGP » Hayden: Carbon frame had a lot of potential

thing is codger they never did any developing of the bike ,he couldn't ride it and it scared him witless , so he forced them into building a 90% new bike that ducati had no experience with completely sending the whole factory into turmoil . as i said before development of the bike was thrown out the door and every single resource was aimed at only trying to get vale a win. it was totally insane and something i doubt we will ever see a manufacturer lose the plot so utterly severely in our life time again.

MotoGP » Silverstone puts smile on Rossi's face, but MotoGP 'too perfect'

livio...stoner complained about things when he won , lost , didn't like directions or you name it , but he was still the man to beat and still winning at the front. vale only complains when he can't beat the others , and when he does win a race he goes around the circuit reaping praise , you know what the problem is with vale...he has lived his life for glory , its all he cares about , and when its out of reach he complains about something to make it look like he is only being beaten because his rivals have it too easy.

Rabcati. the bikes vale used to ride a ways back had around 180 horses and he was using electronics on them then too , today were talking 250 horses and without electronics there would be blood everywhere including vales , today's bikes would not be ridable without electronics unless you want (or as it seems vale wants) everyone riding around at half pace . the thing that is really starting to annoy me about vale is he only complains about something when he can't match the rest , he has done it all his career and it just turns you off after a while.

ive heard simmilar comments from the likes of Kevin Schwantz and vale and every journo with a pen that the electronics helped stoner too , turned out they were all wrong , so i wouldn't say dan and jlo would be overly effected too much without it. , especially if the accusations are coming from rivals that are being beaten by them.

motofanatica. it may have been a 50/50 with it turned down for stoner on the duke but he still put it on the top step every now and then , so it did get better results than riding around turned up in 9nth place. yes stoner complained a few times about electronics but at least he did what he could about it and turn them down. vale isn't really in a position to turn them down because as you say he will be slower , and being already half a second behind the leaders it won't help him , does it not seem like he is wishing for some way to bring them closer because basically he can't reach them as it is now?

Joeski. not bashing at all , lately there has been too much contradicting blabber coming from vale and his fans he says one thing one year and his fans give 10.000 explanations for it , then next year he says another that contradicts the last and off his fans go with another 10.000 explanations , he says less electronics , i say turn them down , you say if he turns them down he's out of tyres , now that just makes less electronics pointless if the tyres won't last right? it was proven over the years you can win races with the electronics turned down and still beat the guys with there's turned up , sure the tyres can sometimes degrade too much and get beaten , but that adds excitement right?

why don't he just turn the electronics down like stoner did , no one is forcing him to use full electronics , last year at ducati he was eagerly waiting for the new electronics package to help stop the back sliding , and thats his words in interviews not mine , seems to be looking for a way to hamper MM and with a call like that carmello will hear it loud and clear.

MotoGP » Hayden: Carbon frame had a lot of potential

Codger. if they went through every possible set up and he still couldn't ride it then the chances are he was never going to gell with it no matter what they did , stoner proved the bike could win with carbon fibre , so the bike could be ridden better than vale was showing , unless everyone believes stoner had a top secret set up that not even jb could find. the CF design was still under heavy development and only into its 3rd year of race testing , rossi's panic and impatience to prove he could win on it turned into a fiasco that completely derailed the development of the bike and become a witch hunt of destruction of the carbon design leading to the scrapping of it all together and cost team personal there jobs ,he spoke of going to ducati to help develop the CF bike so everyone could ride it , turned out to be a personal glory stunt that backfired and had nothing to do with helping the development of the bike.

its open knowledge these days that vale flew into a panic while still at valencia in 2010 , that panic spread to ducati and became an epidemic of confusion and desperate stabs in all directions completely derailing the development path they were on with CF , it became not about developing the bike but trying in vain to get vale a win , it bordered on insanity for a company with a job to do.
