MotoGP » Ben Spies retires from racing

How sad it is! Until last year and all the problems, his career looked so bright. The WSB year, his comet-like appearence at world stage, then his season at Tech 3 with podiums and pole position (no satellite rider was that good for a time), then factory Yamaha with the victory at Assen, and near-victory at rainy Valencia. These news surprised me, I thought he will do another year in WSBK in Ducati. But maybe he did the right thing. Toseland and Vermeulen returned to Superbike after their MotoGP years', and couldn't get near to their former succeess. A 8th or 10th place with Ducati would only ruin Spies' incredible statistics. Now he will be remembered as the only rider who raced only one year in Superbike and won the title that year.

MotoGP » Espargaro confirms Forward Yamaha

I like Espargaro and admire his dominance in the CRT field, but I must say he deserves what is happening, he made this for himself. He was not behaving correctly with the team that gave him the bike for winning. Before CRT started he never had outstanding results, unlike his brother, but Aspar gave him the chance in MotoGP.
