MotoGP » Scott Redding pulls out of TT appearance

beastinblack: What about the guys who have taken part in motogp since the 2011 Malaysian GP? Riders fall all the time and we take it for granted that they will either get up or at least show some signs of movement, but there will be another time in the future when a fall just doesnt happen the right way. Look how Crutchlows bike smacked into Bradl. Hit at any other angle and it could have been curtains. Nobody can guarantee fatalities wont happen again, even in the totally safe(?) F1, there is still a risk. Riders/drivers are pretty much fighter pilots out there.
Your point would be correct if there would be a fatality at every single Grand Prix. Luckily it doesn't happen. But at the TT people die every year. Racing in public roads is unnecessarely dangerous by the standards of the 21st century. Racers should race at circuits, that is why those were built.

WSBK » WSBK Imola - Race results (2)

I was really surprised by him, three wins in a row are a fantastic performance. At the start of the year I didn't think he will be a real contender, but maybe finally he will have that breakthrough. Johnny is leading the championship for the first time ever, do I believe well?
