WSBK » Ben Spies plays down WSBK return rumours

Maybe he could get a top ride in AMA and fight for wins. Talking seriously, it's painful to say, but I don't think he deserves a seat in MotoGP. Every 'factory' rider deserves another chance more than him. He ruined the whole season of his team - they wanted to build on him, but ran with three replacement riders instead. Maybe returning to Superbike wouldn't be that bad. Maybe his MotoGP journey is over.

WSBK » Rea staying in WSBK with Honda?

@ TalentFan You seem to forget Dovi graduated to Repsol from the Jir Scot Honda. Of course, it was a long time ago. I think he was the last before Spies who did it. But your theory is right, it's very hard to get a factory ride for a satellite rider. It's only possible to do it with outstanding results - and a good timing is needed, because there aren't often free seats at factory teams.

Will he ever be in MotoGP? If he wants, maybe he should accept riding a CRT or production machine. Every year the best riders of Moto2 move up, and they take the 'factory' -as the article says- bikes. And there is another thing which is never mentioned. Crutchlow, Smith, Redding and likely Michael Laverty will be in MotoGP next year. Eugene wants to move too. That's five British riders. There are six Spanish riders at the moment. A lot people used to say 'another Spanish rider', now they could say 'another British rider' as well.
