MotoGP » Stoner: Rossi has 'done nothing but complain'

There's no nobility in whinging and criticising your rivals. It's not very sporting. Posted by NC - Unregistered (2 minutes ago) --------------------------- How do you think the folks at Ducati feel right now after everything they've done, only for Rossi to feed them to the dogs in the end? Rossi received more developments in his first year at Ducati than Stoner did in all his years with them. Yet week in week out he rode his balls off the thing. When his doctor forced him to sit out several races & Marlboro publicly criticised him, he was hurt but still stuck with Ducati until 2010. Stoner never whinged 'I need this, I need that, I can't feel the front, I can't turn the bike, I want more from Ducati, more more or I'm leaving'. Stoner is truly loyal and all class, the kind of person you want as a mate. You know he won't turn on you when the going gets tough. Rossi fangirls can rip into him as much as you like, all he's doing is defend his friends at Ducati.

MotoGP » Stoner: Rossi has 'done nothing but complain'

Once again, Stoner is the only rider or person in MotoGP to call a spade a spade. Everyone else are too scared to speak their mind and constantly fill us with PR BS. He deserves more respect for his honesty and for the way he races than any other riders in the paddock - at Sachsenring, he could have strolled to a comfortable 2nd place to collect 'good for the championship' 20 points. But he did a brave thing, it didn't come off, but it shows he's got balls of steel...unlike a certain current Ducati rider.

MotoGP » Yamaha confirm Valentino Rossi’s return

"He would have the motitivation to continue in MotoGP now for the right price! What a better motivation than beating both Honda and Yamaha and Rossi with a Ducati again it would be! Posted by Dylan" Stoner is not motivated by fame or money. He could have been the highest paid rider in 2013 if I wanted to, Honda would have paid him a stupid amount. But he chose to walk away. Unfortunately, the passion is gone.
