MotoGP » MotoGP and CRT: Closer than you think?

I honestly do care about it. IMHO if the changes are to change Motogp into Moto2 then I dont see the point in it. There is Superbike, Supersport, Superstock etc. where the bikes are on similar level hence racing is closer, no dobt about it. But Motogp is spposed to be the pinnacle of motorcycle racing. For the best of the best. And creating yet another racing championship, no different from all the others... Stupid and pointless.

MotoGP » Pedrosa stays top as Valencia test ends

@ ancientone 80 No. No, he didnt. If he was such a nice guy to let his friends have some fun as well, he would have let Ben win the last race. I think that he is the kind of guy that wants to be on top of everything. And maybe he is not eating his heart out as some here suggested, but I bet that yesterday he was sitting in his pit thinking to himself: "How the f*** did he do that?!" :D Im just joking.

MotoGP » Valencia MotoGP test times - Wednesday 1pm

@ Earnest Trasher Some of the Q records have been broken in the 800 era, but I honestly dont know in which years. The qualifying tyres were dropped I guess at the end of 2008 season. You would have to find some stats about that. I wouldnt say the 800 were slower. It all depends on the track I think. The tracks with more bends suited more the 800 cause they were fast in the corners. Tracks with long straights could be better for the 990. But again, Dani did the 349.3 km/h on the 800. It is hard to say really.

@ Earnest Trasher In terms of riding style I agree with you. Dani breakes earlier into the corner and then blasts out of it. He is fast on the exits. Is it going to be a huge advantage for him next season with new tyres? I dont know. I think that the good weather may be a factor here. Dani feels more confident on a dry and warm track. It is only the second day of testing and its not over yet. Anything can happen imho.
