MotoGP » Ben Spies forced to delay Ducati debut

@tcrook21 Im a fan of Spies but I dont agree that anything sinister was going on at Yamaha ,Lack of Engineering support,No offseason Motivation from Ben himself,His pitcrew shouldnt be wrenching a MotoGP bike,Spies never gelled with the new tires and crashed way too much. I also think Yamaha envisioned Rossi returning for next season before this season even started. Theres no doubt Jorge is there number one rider they said as much before the first race in Qatar so the bike is designed to suit his style ,cant blame them he has shown to be there title hope. My advice to Ben would be if you are not happy racing in MotoGP then you shouldn't be racing in MotoGP(Like Stoner)..and all year I had the feeling his heart isnt in it anymore.

MotoGP » Official: Ben Spies to miss Phillip Island

I say give Cal the Factory M1..Theres no difference from Bens bike and Cals anyway at this point(Cals pit crew are 110% better)..Now Jorges bike is another Story. As for Josh Hayes he should for sure get another shot on a M1 he has won yet another Superbike title on a R1 for Yamaha,He did well in Velencia last year in iffy conditions and He and Crutchlow are very good Friends,Im sure Cal would like to see him on the MotoGP grid again.

MotoGP » Stunning turnaround puts Crutchlow in mix

@Kelv of course the box itself and sensors are most likely the same but the programming from the 800 would not work on the 1000cc engine. And If Yamaha wanted they could share Jorge's Data with other Yamaha Riders which they would if it would get another M1 in front of the Hondas but then again there isnt another rider who can ride a M1 like Lorenzo at least until we see if Rossi still "Has it" next year.
