MotoGP » Jerez MotoGP test times - Saturday 3pm

@ malaco Stoner is the best rider out there...and that is not news....he showed it on the Desmocedici over the years. So if it was the bike, why can't Rossi fix it or even adapt to it? it certainly isn't for the lack of resources. Stoner outgrew Rossi, happens all the time in all sports. I will even say that Rossi would also be struggling if he was still on Yamaha.

@malaco: you must me a strong Rossi fan and there is nothing wrong with that... I just think it's wrong to badmouth the motorcycle without realizing some facts. I won't go into details but I will say this. Even if the Ducati was a bad machine when Rossi got to riding it, everything has been changed according to Rossi... it has been over a year now. what does that tell you? One more question? What motorcycle do you ride?

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi still far from the 'front'

People... a lot of you state that the problem is the bike, the engine, even the handlebars..... seriously? NO! The desmo was so much worse in 2007, have you ever ridden anything with a trellis frame?? it's not that easy to turn in the first place.. it's almost like riding a block of wood. but still, Stoner was the champion in 2007 and he also did a great job in 2008. Then he continued to get podiums when the carbon fiber was put in place. One more fact. On Stoner's last GP with the Desmocedici he said that he felt like he could win anywhere with that bike, and this was just one month before Rossi started riding it. (and breaking it apart). The bike is fine! even with some issues it never stopped being competitive! Verify the stats if you need to.
