MotoGP » Honda would 'stop' if software is controlled

The BMW S1000RR came out without any 'valuable MotoGP level R&D' and runs laps around the Fireblade in terms of electronics and outright power. I refuse to believe that the MotoGP R&D team are taking any load of the road bike development team. Honda are at the pinnacle of MotoGP but sinking into the abyss of motorcycle development behind its European counterparts. I don't know, maybe the new RCV road bike will be a game changer but I don't see how a spec ECU would've changed it.

F1 » Caterham finally reveals CT05

I'd like to make a formal complaint to My son of 8 was looking at the latest F1 cars on your website and without ANY warning of adult content he gets an adult image thrust into his face. I have parental blocking software but somehow your image got through. Please enable a content warning for young viewers. I am facing all sorts of questioning about how crocodiles are born.

F1 » Caterham finally reveals CT05

CallMeMrCynical: I am no aero engineer but the front portion of the nose/tub which is angled down front to rear must be producing a up-force? Can't see it working (which means it's probably going to be stunningly successful) to me?
I think the principle is that air flowing under the car should be allowed to flow as smoothly/quickly as possible. It's like an upside down wing. Faster airflow on one side of surface = lower pressure than other side = lift (or in this case downforce). Their design tries to allow as much air as possible to pass underneath. Unfortunately the nose section (behind the pernis) has to be big enough for impact protection so it's not aerodynamically ideal. The pernis section is there simply to make the nose section low enough to comply with regs but to allow as much flow as possible under the nose.
