RR » BMW Motorrad UK responds to reports of TAS Racing switch

grantrd: That BMW only won at the TT because M Dunlop was riding it, he would have won on any bike (except a panigale as that would blow up half way round the first lap) Dunlop has proved he can win on any machine, I think now he will go with one of the Japanese manufacturers and stay there for a while to bag as many TT's as he can........he would be mad not to....my guess is Yamaha as there will be a new R1 next year which will blow the S1000rr into the bushes. The BMW is getting old now......
BMW have a new RR HP bike in the wings 199bhp out of the box. TAS will get this one. It was reported Dunlop will be on a Ninja next year....

RR » Mar-Train Racing in official Yamaha UK roads deal

Tetley:
bigphilsp12: heard Mickey D might be riding the 600.
Shock ! Horror ! You may be right ! MCN has just revealed that Michael Dunlop is losing his BMW ride for the North West 200, TT and Ulster Grand Prix races in 2015 because Buildbase Hawk BMW is to be replaced by the Northern Ireland-based TAS team as BMW’s officially supported team for next year’s BSB and road racing campaigns. Dunlop won two North West 200 races and the Superbike, Superstock and Senior TTs on Stuart Hicken’s Buildbase Hawk prepared BMW S1000RRs in 2014, but is expected to be replaced by the TAS team’s current riders, Guy Martin and Michael’s elder brother, William. This sees TAS ending their relationship with the Suzuki factory, which is expected to focus its racing budget and resources on a return to the MotoGP series.
I would be surprised if BMW don't sort out a dealer for M D ie TAS for 2015. Also talk is Brookes is doing the 3 big road races with Mar-Tra
