@sete Not exactly lucky at Philip Island was he? @desh Since the aliens arrived wins have been super hard to achieve, let alone titles. True for all but the aliens. Even including Rossi, its 1 in 4 chance to get a win. Thats easy. And the top 2 won 14 out of 18 races - wasn't hard for them really. Sadly though, this is what happens when there are 2 dominant makers and 2 dominant riders. Which one is best? Well, sometimes its one and sometimes the other. One thing for sure is that they are a cut above the rest. I actually like them both and if they continue into 2014 at the same level, it will be a 2 horse race and promotion for both to alien+. .

F1 » Hamilton: We have the best people

I'm not sure that having a lot of terribly important people with very exotic job names is necessarily the best idea. Too many cooks and all that. F1 teams need an uberfuhrer - someone has to be the boss or the colossal egos will create quite a bit of friction. Who is it at Merc now? Paddy?, Toto?, the elderly fan? All of them? It could be fun next season.

Marquez and Lorenzo are probably the two best riders currently anywhere. Both Spanish sure, but would anyone like to offer two others with a comparable track record. Any series. Spanish riders do proliferate but bearing in mind that in Spain bike races are more popular than comparable car races, it isn't surprising. Their junior series are regarded by many as the best around and attract riders from elsewhere as well - e.g.Stoner. However, moto2/3 are now producing fine talent from several countries and hopefully this will carry through to the top class over the next few seasons. Just don't blame the Spanish for having a good bike racing infrastructure.
