F1 » Button: Bad spell good for McLaren

sprulz: Apparently GP2 driver Joylon Palmer is in talks with F1 teams. Wonder if McLaren are one of them.
Oh, you mean Jonathan Palmer's boy? The Jonathan Palmer who owns Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Cadwell Park circuits and who helped develop the McLaren F1 road car in the 90s. I think you can assume that he would have a chat with Ron.

F1 » Ricciardo: Drivers were against standing restarts

CarmelitoEzpeleta: What a joke, double points, standing restarts, less practice seasions, bans on testimg, V6 engines... what tye hell happened to this once great sport? If any of you love real F1 give motogp a watch, its basically what F1 used to be 15 - 20 years ago. Danger, thrills, spills, actual racing, no gimmicks, traditional circuits, only 3 or 4 competitiors from 2 teams with a realistic chance of victory..
...and if you prefer close racing, watch moto3. At the end of the last race I found myself gripping the edge of my desk tightly. Heartstopping stuff. But back to the latest Plan Bonkers, there is another downside to this. A full standing restart takes longer to set up than a rolling start and if F1 keeps exceeding the normal 2 hour limit, the TV companies will start complaining. And they are big time contributors to the show.

MotoGP » Assen Moto3 - Race Results

Yearby23: Another brilliant Moto3 race... Maybe a bit sp**** out front with Marquez and Rins but Miller and Fenati crashing out. This class this season is shaping up to be brilliant with 15 points covering the top 5 riders in the standings. Efren Vasquez is the only rider out of the top 5 who hasn't had a dnf so if the other 4 keep crashing he could take the lead and even win the title.... Emilio Alzamora did it years ago, winning a title without winning a single race all year, so anything is possible.
It's Efren's last chance to get the title. Next September he will be 29 and not eligible to race. Too old.....

MotoGP » Assen Moto2 - Race Results

Indianbear: some one give him a decent bike he would win a lot of races
This is moto2. The bikes are pretty similar - some frames work better sometimes but the difference is marginal. Ant rode well in the conditions (as usual when its wet) but unless he can get some consistently better results in all conditions, he's unlikely to go any further, I'm afraid.
