F1 » Verstappen gets 2015 Toro Rosso drive

JEV will have had 3 seasons at STR. That's one more than they usually tolerate. But will he be free to go to another F1 team? I can't remember any disposed STR driver going elsewhere. Buemi hangs around as a spare, Bourdais and Speed went back to the US to drive in circles, Algesuari will re-surface in the Scalextric series. Perhaps their contracts are Red Bull or nothing. Sebastian Loeb almost joined STR but having only won many, many WRC titles and been pretty good at testing F1, and Le Mans, he was refused a super licence. Max, who hasn't even driven racing cars for a year, looks like he will. Funny old world. Just recalled Liuzzi - he did drive for other teams but that was a while ago.

MotoGP » Camier thrilled with maiden MotoGP point at Brno

johnny13:
BeardedWarrior: could see him getting Aoyama's ride out of this if he could get another race or two under his belt Go Nicky do the decent thing and give the Guy a chance to prove his worth on the big stage.
Wont happen unfortunately as HRC generally want a Japanese rider involved in the championship somewhere, even if they have proven to be not overly competitive on ANY big bike. Desreves a ride though for sure, just not sure where!
He was due to get a seat with Ioda this year until they decided to run a single machine. Considering the lack of preparation and practice, he did very well and that will not go un-noticed in the paddock. He's probably cheap too, which will attract one of the smaller teams. Never realised Hayden was Japanese though. Remind me, when did HRC last have a regular Japanese rider in their team?
