F1 » Schumacher: Money played a part

given that msc was reportedly being paid 70m at ferrari you do wonder if it was such an issue and if he wanted it that much then why he didnt dip into his own very deep pockets.. poor excuse, he was a different person when he made his comeback personality wise - i even found myself liking him, unfortunately he was a different driver too, there just wasn't enough Monaco pole lap type performances.. he will still be remembered as a 7 times wdc winner though..

oh dear pole position - for such silly comments i think you need sending to the back of the grid. i've been watching f1 since the early 80's. i remember Senna, Schumacher ,Alonso, Raikonnen etc making their debuts - my observation is that Vettel should be and will be remembered as one of the best ever. i'm not his kool aid swilling #1 fan - not one bit, i favour Button & Raikonnen IF IT MATTERS. my point is that since he first drove an f1 car the boy has oozed class, please dont try to kid us that setting fastest time in your first ever practice session doesnt count. he also scored points in his first ever f1 race. you dont have to love the guy - i just think you need to take off the lulu love goggles & enjoy watching history in the making.

pole position you're talking nonsense.. look at the friday practice times from when seb was at bmw. look at his other results for torro rosso.. then come back and say his result at monza was a one off.. its simply not true, if you cant be bothered to check his results in the torro rosso in 2008 from monaco onwards were 5,8,12,r,8,r,6,8,5,1,5,6,9,4 = thats hardly a one off is it!!

when Vettel was test driver for Bmw people were rightly shocked by his lightning pace, When he went up against multiple champ car title winning Seb Bourdais a number of people thought he'd be soundly beaten.. he promptly sent him scurrying. He signs for Red Bull & is paired with the very highly rated Mark Webber. you know the rest. people seem to forget they have the same car.. Webber has looked Sunday League on so many occasions compared to Vettel, He's far from my favourite driver. but give the guy the credit he deserves and think yourself lucky that you have the chance to see him make history. would you bet against him beating schueys records?

F1 » Grosjean confident Lotus talks 'on the right track'

what the hecks the matter with you lot.. kamui has been average this year - sergio - less experienced, has outshone him and has got the jump.. not sure he deserves a mclaren seat but hey ho. romain has made about as many errors as lewis did the year before running into felipe & co.. give the guy the kudos he deserves - he's up against the icon that is kimi.. 90% of the current field would pale in his shadow. romain will be just fine..... give the fella a break..
