F1 » F1 Driver of the Year vote: 2nd

Some people just don't understand the concept of this poll (Mike) It was a vote on who you thought was the BEST DRIVER of the season, not who you like or dislike the most for whatever reason. Some of you people must be comical at election time, "Oh I'm not voting for him I don't like his shoes, dog, haircut etc" @ Taipan - You just said that in a way 10 times better than I did in another thread !!!

F1 » F1 Driver of the Year vote: 4th

"The man wins his third F1 title and you rate him 4th This isn't a poll on who is the best driver. It's about who you like the most - period! A waste of time." This isn't a poll of who won the WDC numbnuts !!! If it was there would not be a poll !!!! This is who people thought drove the best considering all aspects....... GET IT ????? Especially to all the other people having a whinge. There are 2 obvious drivers..... Alonso and Kimi...... who did a better job in MUCH tougher conditions then Beiber and thats why to your disbelief that he didn't win. I totally understand why a fanboy wouldn't get it !

I knew Seb wouldn't come first here, but as a big critic to him I though he should have come 2nd maybe 3rd. There are alot of Lulu fanboys here and the Beiber fanboys are growing all the time....... Yet there are hardly any Ferdi fanboys and he is going to win this vote. It basically tells you that there might be some biased voting going on but the objective vote with Ferdi driving that Fez will win the day. This isn't about who won the WDC, it's about who people thought drove the best with what they had and even the Lulu fanboys are not sooking about it, the Beiber fanboys are. I think this is good actually as it shows majority of people don't think Seb is all he is cracked up to be. Let him prove people otherwise in years to come. If he can without Newey !

F1 » Stewart maintains view Vettel still isn't an F1 great

Richard- You dont necessarily have to switch teams, your car can become uncompetitive but the result is the same, you still have to win with a dog car. Clark still won races when the Lotus was a dog and the majority overrides you again as majority of the world call Senna the greatest. I just have massive respect for Clark. UncleSam - I believe epic drives are still to be had. If Button can win from last to first for whatever reasons then surely Seb can aswell ?? Even starting down the field and winning. In the rain, just one of those days etc as a "great" driver will still defy the odds and produce excellent drives. Button isn't great but that was a great drive and forced Seb into a mistake to boot ! Always remember the words of Murray Walker: "Anything can happen in F1, and it probably will" !!!

F1 » Stewart maintains view Vettel still isn't an F1 great

Richard - Who in their right mind wouldn't call Clark a great. He stayed with Lotus his whole career but didn't have the best car in all of those. He won races in dogs of cars and is known to be able to drive the wheels off dog cars where others struggled. He raced and won in other categories while in F1 aswell, like the Indy 500. When he died he had the record for most poles and wins and STILL has the record for most Grand Chelems, which makes him the most dominating driver in history. 63 Belguim he won by nearly 5 mins, 67 Italy he was a lap down and still won. So yeah I put Clark on top step with Senna. So what if Seb pulled off 2 pretty good races, I'm still waiting for "epic" drives where he wins them and they go in the History books. Basically when you look at what the greatest drivers have done, it's hard to be impressed by just pretty good drives !!! Seb still is no Schumi, not from 2 overdue races. I'm not sure about the reminiscing bit, he's got alot to do and plenty of time
