F1 » The future of F1: HAVE YOUR SAY

1- Remove Bernie and CVC - easier said than done. Teams should be equal major sharholders so more money flows to teams and helps the smaller teams exist. 2- Lower aero and move to ground effects so there is still lots of downforce but cars can follow closely, then remove DRS. 3- Have twin turbo and have 2 mgu-h's and remove the mgu-k so drivers can brake normally again without balance probs. Also allow more fuel flow. 4- Ban hand clutches and multi bite points - Foot clutch only with 1 bite point with anti-stall. Cant decide whether to keep paddle shift or go to stick. 5- Remove rubbish circuits 6- Thats it so far might add more later.

F1 » F1: Ricciardo hits Top Gear with lap record

Richard - Again, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Again you spoke about having to switch driving hands and used that excuse for Seb. How many drivers came from RHD countries into F1 which was LHD and still had no issues !!!! Your argument is void and the whole time you knew what I was on about !!! Congratulations !!! P.S: Don't act dumb, I know you're a lot smarter than that !! A lot smarter !!

Seakay: Jeez, the media love the likes of you! Do you really believe a 100 odd horse powered vehicle that probably loses 10mph in a headwind and has zero aerodynamics represents a benchmark for competitive driving? Actually I think you do! Get serious man, it's just a bit of fun! So let me guess ! You think putting one driver in a superior car and another driver in a crap car is the best way to differentiate drivers ??? Like lulu vs a marusia driver in 2014 ?

F1 » F1: Ricciardo hits Top Gear with lap record

richard: izy. webbers and lulus second times were not in the wet! have a look at your own listing! but as others have pointed out , the times are totally irrelevant. some have driven on different tyres, some on worn tyres etc etc. and yes, driving a rhd car is different for a person brought up driving a lhd car. put ricciardo , webber or lulu in a lhd car and see if they could mimic their rhd times. i must admit that i drive lhd cars here as well as rhd cars on the continent, and even though it is natural for me, there is still a difference
Rich, are you trying to confuse things mate ? You said Seb's first time beat Lulus first time ! oh course he did, Lulus first time was in the wet !!! So was Webbers and both of them went faster then Seb when they had a dry track ! Then you go on to confirm what I said but somehow questioned it ?? Yes, I am confused now. In all honesty that Suzuki is so slow that it wouldn't matter was side drive it had ! F1 champs

richard:
theeagle: All F1 drivers do good in TG (well after all they are professional drivers) but Daniel Riccardo had done extraordinary. Just wonder what Vettel's time was, although that was 1 or 2 years ago?
i think that it was 44.1. but remember, vettel was driving a rhd car, something he was not used to, whilst lulu and ricciardo were driving a car that they were used to. and vettels first time actually beat lulus first time, that is why lulu had to return to try and go faster.
I'm not having that Richard, you're taking the p*@s old chap ! Lulu and Webbers first times were wet conditions. RHD !!! You're seriously having a lend !

Listen to some of you tourists !!! Different day, temps, RHD, conditions etc etc !!! The best way to rank drivers is put them in the same car !!! Everyone knows that or suggests it until their driver loses !!! Unlike F1 cars where small variables make big differences, this is perfect because its a piece of S#*t that everyone has to make do and get the most out of !! 1. Daniel Riciardo, 1m42.2s 2. Lewis Hamilton, 1m42.9s 3. Mark Webber, 1m43.1s 4. Sebastian Vettel, 1m44.0s 5. Rubens Barrichello, 1m44.3s 6. The Stig (white), 1m44.4s 7. Nigel Mansell, 1m44.6s 8. Lewis Hamilton (damp, oily), 1m44.7s 9. Jenson Button (HOT), 1m44.7s 10. The Stig (black), 1m46.0s 11. Kimi Raikkonen (very wet), 1m46.1s 12. Damon Hill, 1m46.3s 13. Mark Webber (very wet), 1m47.1s I remember Sebs lap, he was checking tyre pressures thinking he would get some sort of advantage !!!

F1 » Vettel marks Ferrari F1 debut with top time

Good Lord !!!! Silly season came early for some Seb fans !!!! First rule of fight club..................................... Um, I mean pre season testing: Is that times don't mean jack. Notice that the two biggest Seb fanboys (not mentioning names) on this site have not said a word ? Despite their devotion, they are both wiser than that to call victory from testing times. Honestly, I thought everybody except rookies knew testing means nothing.
