F1 » Vettel: Difficult to be right there from beginning

George Zaidan:
rob01: Alonso said the same thing for 5 years.
remember Rob, Vettel's hero was also able to turn around Ferrari... try being positive for a change even if the finger gets under your skin, nothing stays the same
dont worry george. rob is still smarting that ferrari have replaced his idol, for a better one.
Ferrari lost an asset when FA left. No way Vettel matches the effort FA put in for 5 years. Fernando has double the gray matter of the finger and much tougher skin. Vettel ran from Red bull with tail fully tucked.
+1 on that Rob. Seb loves a drive where he can mash the loud pedal and the car does the rest. Looking at last year and the way the Fez have been the past 5 years I see Seb struggling even more this year. Unlike Ferdi who can get a ride on lawnmower up the front end of the grid.

F1 » Horner: Vettel nearly quit F1

This article is so amusing. My favorite part was “It was like someone had taken his toy away" Hahaha how true !! He had 1 Webber year though and nearly quits, what a disgrace. Then some of the Seb fan boy excuses !!! Don't lower yourselves down to the Lulu brigade level...................But I think some are already there !!

F1 » Ferrari sets launch date for 2015 F1 car

1- EBD's are gone, so that wont help. 2- Seb had a Newey car last year and didn't do much with it. 3- So if Seb tells Ferrari as much as he can about Newey's tech, how can Ferrari adapt that to their cars with all the wind tunnel issues etc. 4- Even if Ferrari can make a RB clone, refer to point 2 and Newey would still be a year ahead and with fresh ideas. 5- Peter Prodomou (ex RB aerodynamist) would have a better shot taking Newey secrets to Mclaren. He would be a year behind too.

F1 » Lauda urges caution over F1 power units

RacerDon: Nikki, sorry but you are wrong. The current hybrid system is ruining F! and is much to costly ! Dump the hybrid ASAP ! A nice V8 or V10 naturally aspirated would be best and most economical. Not to mention it would make for better racing. Don
Hybrid is the future and they way manufacturers want to go, you and others just have to deal with that. I would love see v10's or 12's or better yet let teams run what they want, but that's not gonna happen and teams wouldn't go with a v10 when you can run a 6 turbo. I'm loving all the extra torque from turbo, I haven't seen the cars wheel spin like this since the 80's. It's making the drivers work again. Im all for twin turbo so F1 is loud again and there is some extra efficiency to gain with a turbo for each cylinder bank, plus you can run an extra MGU-H for more energy gain. More sound and more power thanks.

F1 » McLaren to launch on January 29

@ Fullofit - Do you feel a bit silly after posting that ? Everyone knows Ferrari has always been Red !!!! Well.............except you !!!! My point was I would like to see the Marlboro livery return because I think it belongs on the Macca and on the grid. Also like I said it does not have to have anything to do with Marlboro, just like Lotus are running a JPS livery !! BTW JPS = John Player Special - A cigarette brand................ If you didn't know that either or was before your time Fullofit !!!!! Yes Richard, I know Macca used to be orange (the very first car was white with a green strip) and the livery must suit the main sponsor, but IMO the red and white looks the best on it, its nostalgic and something missing from the grid, again, just my opinion.

Webbertron: They better make their cars red and white again. I don't see why they wouldn't, Santander is red, I'm not sure if Jenson has a sponsor (maybe Johnny Walker?) but even then that would look good on a red and white car, and Honda.
I would love to see Macca go back to that livery. Look at Lotus, they run the JPS livery without anything to do with tobacco. Just like Ferrari being red, the Marlboro livery is definitely something missing from F1.
