This is another rare time I agree with Richard, and 100%. Testing times mean nothing. As he said this is a chance to test equipment and all sorts of aero parts as well as a really probable assumption that they were all running heavy fuel as to not "give anything away" One thing RB will do is sandbag (it's their thing) so you wont see true pace now and maybe Macca decided to do a quick lower fuel run.

If anyone paid any close attention to the past 3 years: When car suits Seb - Seb beats Mark When car suits both - its fairly even When car suits Mark - He destroys Seb, but the car does not suit Mark that often. First half of 2010, things were even. Second half of 2010 seen off throttle blowing which Mark hated and Seb liked, but Mark still did good. 2011 - Mark hated the total EBD car, Seb loved it. 2012 - Seen Mark do better until Newey developed the indirect EBD and Seb took off. Can you see the pattern ??? If Mark had a car that R+D was even or went his way then you would see different results. But its still Marks job to drive around problems and be more consistent, if mechanical gremlins don't pop up.

No and No. Anyone who understands F1 knows that the best way to get the "show" without the "blow" is to simply reduce aero and have wider tyres - Problem solved. Experts and F1 armchair warriors have been saying it for decades. I remember Alan Jones always going on about it, especially in the 90's. Also its a very cost effective way of achieving the same "entertainment" but with a lot more oversteer and driver input.

I'm one of the purists that love that turbo power is coming back. The Merc guy saying there will be much more torque which will be great for lovers of oversteer (waiting to see how Newey will get around that one, as loop holes are running out for extra downforce) @ Sunny - Interesting with the turbo in the Merc pic, it is a "one" piece (turbine & compressor together) like a normal turbo but with a big covered shaft area to run the ERS off, but ??? Isn't this type of turbo called "compounding" when you run extra driven devices off the shaft. Extra ???? 1- Obviously they show no headers/exhaust manifolds so one could suggest they will still run a big external wastegate ? 2- Will they run 1 intercooler in the air intake duct instead of 1 on 1 side or 2 on both, or will they try water to air and try and squeeze extra power that way regardless of weight ? 3- Will they allow extra boost to be run in Quali ?

Tony said quite a bit I wanted to. Marko is a walking joke. Mark's first win RB were not happy that Seb didn't win. 2010 Mark led the WDC for most of the year but when Mark is leading and by a decent gap its all "fairness" and "equality" (RB's 2 biggest joke words). But the second Seb gets any sort of lead it's everything goes to Seb. I still think Mark lost the WDC cause of his bike crash, cause anyone who has broken bones knows you cant be 100%, but he still did well on injections. Everything has always been the Seb investment from the RB driver program, its all money and pay off. The only time RB have ever fully supported Mark was Hungary 2010 where Seb's famous "How the F*#K is Mark in front"comment came from. If Webber struggles as Marko says it's because they want Seb to win. Basically.
