F1 » Button eager to rectify situation

whitew. yes, button was making similar complaints about senna. nowadays with cars so close in speed, it is really only a pit stop that can shuffle the pack. vettel and button both wanted their teams to change strategy to give them free air. that is the sad face of current f1! Posted by richard (28 days ago) rihard where you say button was making similar complaints against Senna you were referring to that Jenson was complaining that Senna had held him up. I replied to you that Jenson did not say that. To be continued

F1 » Button eager to rectify situation

Oh look it is Sid and his Haplorhini. I like a stat/facts which shows a driver who has had more misfortune than his 2009 WDC teammate is still able to lead his teammate over the two and a half season since Button came to Mclaren who is also a WDC and has much more f1 experience than the epic one, so no i'm not pissed sorry to disappoint you and i personally have never said Jenson is a average driver that's just you doing your usual selective interpretation. As for stats i like the one where just over half way through the season and the epic one as you call him is 40 points in front of his teammate, i like facts like when a driver starts last through no fault of his own and still finishes above his teammate who started 11th or laps his teammate even though in the same car so to the haters we can all come up with facts and figures. And as for Lewis imploding i blame no one else but Hammi but the facts remain in 2010 Lewis beat the reining WDC and in 2011 due to some circumstances ou

F1 » Button eager to rectify situation

contin outside F1 Jenson was able to beat Hammi but i told all on here that a focused Lewis would beat Jenson now in 2012 we all can see what nis happening just like i predicted so i suggest instead of calling people fruitcakes try listening to them you might learn something. And as for the bandwagon jumper credibility is not your forte i think you must be watching/listening to Orf instead of the good old BBC. Try listening to the BBC and you wont make incorrect comments about Jenson accusing a driver of ruining his race when he came out and said that was not the case.

F1 » 'No regrets' about F1 return, says Schumacher

Schumi should have no regrets , he has returned to participate against the most competitive drivers assembled on a grid at one time i think 6 WDC, and as DC said this is a golden era of F1 and although Schumi is being schooled by his teammate with him being 47 points behind Nico Schumi is still giving it his all. I don't know if Schumi's 40+ years means he has lost some of his skill or he is just driving in an era where the drivers are superior to those Schumi faced in his hay days.

F1 » Lotus open over double DRS

Craig Scarborough seems to get technical info which teams don't wont the average Joe to know. He even found out that Red Bull was using the Kers Battery and Capacitor method simultaneously the battery method for main high current harvesting and Capacitor for the quicker but less current harvesting. The flying lap is a quality show..

F1 » Button eager to rectify situation

I dont think anyone has forgotten Jensons performances its just that sensible f1 fans know that in 2011 his teammate imploded even with a decent Mclaren car which Jenson just took advantage of. He finished runner up and did a great job in finishing above Webber who was driving a aero-wonder car, and in Canada 2011 he did a great job in winning the longest race in f1 history but i for one knew it was just about conditions, luck and basic good driving but i always knew a fully Focused Lewis would be to good for him simply because Lewis and most of the other top drivers are more versatile/dynamic than Jenson who needs the car to be spot on which will be hard as the f1 teams in 2012 have to be pushing upgrades virtually in every race wich will make cars behave differently on some race days which Jenson struggles with. Jenson is the diffuser trick kid 09/11 but when the car does not have that rear grip and driver skill is needed then Button becomes less competitive.

F1 » F1 POLL: Which is the top race so far in 2012?

@Ty At Canada the race was decided because all the front runners tyres died, was not Lewis a front runner? With a comment like that there seems to be only one strange person around here sir. And as for Hungary yes a dominant Weekend by wonder boy but sensible f1 fans realized that the Lotus team was hoping Kimi would have passed Hammi with the E20 being on fresher tires with a car that looks after tires better than the rest, it did not happen because Lewis showed brilliant tire management skills. To those who still cant comprehend that the tires are dictating results more than track specifics then just look at Valencia which is also known for lack of overtakes, but due to the 2012 Pirelli's we saw overtaking which was not in line to what usually happens at that particular circuit.

F1 » F1 POLL: Which is the top race so far in 2012?

for me Canada and Hungary. In Canada we saw a battle of the three top driver's who pressed each other for 3/4 of the race, and then that EPIC chase the hunt for the multiple champions where we saw the pursuit and execution of Vettel and Alonso on a day where conditions and mistakes played no part just driver power. In Hungary we saw the arrival of the long distant runners the Allison power houses which in the hands of Kimi and Grosjean proved to much for the likes of Button,Vettel,Alono and co in Hungary. The E20 would have cleaned up if not for a driver who is renowned for not looking after his tyres unfortunately for the Lotus team who with great strategy skills brought Kimi into contention with tyres that were 5 laps fresher than the ones driven by the only driver to challenge the Lotus machines, with Kimi and the team waiting for the Mclaren tyres to go off the cliff, we all could only sit back and witness tire management of the highest order. The rest is history.
