F1 » Alonso names biggest threats

Ty, i don't know of any WDC driving into Maldonado in 2012 which is the season the poster using the name of crash was talking about. And as for publicity, some things come natural as you wont see Lewis making an ass of himself on a famous US chat show, but you will see acting and Musical icons visiting the Mclaren paddock on some race days to see a WDC but i dont think it is Jenson. Enrico, was not aware about Lewis's aunt thanks for informing this site as it has relevance as she is the aunt of a very famous F1 driver.

F1 » Alonso names biggest threats

Poor old Massa hasn't really got over his brief spell as WDC in 2008 and then to add to that the poor guy gets assaulted by the Brawn car in 2009 and then in 2010 in Germany it is made official over the radio that he is the No2 at Ferrari. Only factor regards Massa in 2012 is the margin he will finish behind his teammate. As for Maldonado yes he will be a major factor on how many WDC he can take out before the season ends

F1 » Alonso names biggest threats

2009, yes you could be right about Alonso's thinking on the Lotus ddrs. But i do remember Eric Boullier saying after the Hungary race that if the team got the duct system right that they would finish on a podium in all of the 9 races left, which i thought was a confidant boast. And we all should remember that the ddrs system is being outlawed in 2013 so for them to continue with the development and implementation at Spa of this system says to me they feel its worth the while. So i for one are taking James Allison very seriously as he more than most thinks their system can get Kimi into the mix as a tittle contender.

F1 » Karthikeyan seeks qualifying boost

Karthikeyan, shouldnt feel to bad regards being outperformed in quali by his teammate, as there are better drivers than himself being not just beaten but being thrashed by their teammates in quali like the Brazilian who was the 2008 wdc for about 20 sec, i think he is 11-0 down this season to his teammate while the 2009 wdc is 9-2 to his teammate. Keep your chin up mate.

F1 » Lauda: Vettel having to 'fight like a donkey'

Vettel had a top car last year, a car which was nearly 4tenth quicker than the rest on average over the season due to Newey and his team perfecting the EBD better than the rest. Any real f1 fan knows that 2011 was about the RB7 more than the driver and with the ban on the EBD Red Bull lost their advantage and Vettel does not look like the Vettel of 2011 but must give credit he is pitching in there but the RB8 easily one of the top 3 cars on the grid.

F1 » McLaren 'closer' to Hamilton deal

Its good to see Lewis and his management team are playing hardball he is far the best driver at Mclaren and deserves to be taken seriously it seems he just wants a one year deal and with Neal saying they are getting closer shows that Mclaren will do their best to keep him even though all the other top f1 seats are filled. F1 » McLaren only won 'because of qualifying and pit-stops'

Mr Sporting Director you seem to have forgoten about the bad pitstop which would have let Grosjean get the jump on Lewis if they themselves had not made a bad pitstop also. Yes credit must be given to the engineering team for getting the Mp4-27 back on track but what happens if it rains or conditions are cool? Since Sam as arrived as sporting director which is mainly being in charge of the team and the pits on a race day we have seen so much elementary mistakes, mistakes that has cost Lewis from challenging Alonso and now you say it was good pitstop what helped Mclaren win. If Lewis had not looked after his tires for 20+ laps Kimi would have passed him like he did in Valencia as Micheal and the Mclaren team had run out of ideas.
