F1 » Hamilton 'super-motivated' heading to Valencia

calm down richard i don't want here about you being found slumped over your key board after another Lewis thread. And it is a shame richard that your comments regards past drivers and there excitement levels compared to Lewis have to be taken with a pinch of salt not because it may not be true but because anything you say pertaining to Lewis cannot be regarded as credible due to your consistent derogatory remarks of a driver who is highly regarded by his fellow professionals and f1 pundits. And any true f1 fan would not be influenced by the liking of a driver by his fans in determining whether they like or dislike a driver, surly results and performance should be what matters when coming to such a conclusion? Your comments rather sums you up really.

ITs hard for the old timers to accept that a homeboy is f1's most exciting ever. At least if James Hunt was alive he would appreciate Lewis unlike some of the fans on this site who are going to have it hard as Lewis gets more popular and his fan base increases, it may become a case of the Elephant in the room. As DC says this is a golden era for F1 with some people enjoying it and some feeling sick.

F1 » Button: I'm no whiner!

Nick 636 and richard, click on my user name and on page 3 I refer to Jenson as a world class driver page7 i say Jenson will make a comeback this season while others are slating him. Page 7 I refer to button as in same league as Alonso,Vettel and Hamilton. Page 8 I refer to Jenson as a top driver. Page 10 I refer to Jenson as a top driver and that he will push Hammi all the way. Page 11 i complement Jenson on his smooth diving and using it to beat an unfocused Lewis in 2011. TBH i could go through many more of my pages and find more compliments i have made about Jenson because i give credit were credit is due. I see Jenson as a good tradesman and on his day when the car is set exact to his requirements he will match anyone.

F1 » Button aiming to bounce back after Canada

Ill say again he started to take his driving line when Lewis's front wheel was already in in line with Jenson's back wheel, if Lewis was behind Button when Button started to take his line and Lewis hit him then yes Lewis's fault but the fact that Hammi was passing Jenson when Jenson decided to move over makes it Jensons fault. Nothing hard to understand just take off the foster grant blinkers.

F1 » Button: I'm no whiner!

richard, he does not attack the team he cracks the whip when the team is not performing its only people like you who want to see Lewis telling Mclaren to get their finger out as an attack. Lewis is not only a record breaking top f1 driver but is now keeping Mclaren in line by exposing and jumping on silly/elementary mistakes his team makes and its starting to get results on his side of the team. And he also took the blame for the bad pitstops regards the anti stall. Anyway typical you bringing up Lewis on a Button thread you need to get over Lewis's popularity in f1 i now he is not the type of driver who fits your middle England profile but that's just how it is in sports talent will always shine through over peoples stereotypes

Nick636, Yes i did watch the race as i had to watch in horror as Button taking his driving line while Lewis front wheel was already in line with Button rear wheel. And Button has already admitted that he saw nothing in his mirrors and apologised to Lewis so he seems to have a different opinion from yours. And BTW because someone has a different opinion from yours it does not mean they are childish.
