MotoGP » Valentino Rossi lashes out after Qatar nightmare

Aussie, I didn't slag Stoner for his riding abilities when he was with Ducati! I probably said things about all the moaning and groaning he was doing, but let's be honest, nobody, but nobody really thought the Ducati was that bad! Casey had a reputation as a moaner and always had excuses for this, that and the other, so just about everybody fobbed him off, not just me! It was only when Valentino confirmed everything Casey complained about that people realised the big problems Casey had suffered and sympathised with him! Thing is, everybody now assumes Valentino can sort it all out when Casey couldn't, but obviously, the problems are that bad it is verging on the impossible! Casey has always been an exceptionally fast rider and Valentino is in my mind the best, but neither of these two has been able to sort out the serious problems the Ducati has, so who else will be able to????

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi lashes out after Qatar nightmare

ffs is totally right! The Ducati is a bike nobody wants to ride and even less so now that Rossi has proved it beyond all doubt! If everyone wants to think it is just the rider that is the problem then they have to agree that Stoner himself suffered all sorts of problems that he couldn't sort out no matter how good he was on the track! If it was only the rider, then why did Casey complain so much about the self same things Valentino is still having problems with? Surely one of these two could have got it where it should be by now if it was down to the rider, but neither of them has been successfull. Yes, Stoner could get better results, but that doesn't mean the bike was any better to ride than it is now - remember how often Casey fell off and the nightmare he went through while at Ducati! Stop all the constant blame being put on to Rossi as it is not his fault - it wasn't Casey's fault either - it is the bike!! Also, one of the big problems is the cornering. Valentino is well known for

MotoGP » MotoGP gets physical with 1000cc

So, Casey's new gloves were too tight!!!! Talk about laugh!!! What will he come up with next?? Maybe somebody needs to have a word and give Casey some handy hints! Anyway, Casey was one of the ones that couldn't wait to ride a 1000cc bike, so surely he knew it would be a bit harder to ride. Well, you would have thought so. Danny didn't seem to suffer and if anybody was expected to have problems, it was him! Just shows.

Do the people that keep harping on about Ducati just doing this, doing that, moving this, tweaking that and all the other rubbish they think will solve the problems not think that EVERYTHING has been done already!!!!!! NOTHING is making any difference! The bike is a waste of time and just needs scrapped because it doesn't and wont work!! They will be in seriously deep sh-t when Valentino walks, which I hope he does, and no matter how many straws they try to clutch look as if that is where they will stay!!

MotoGP » Arm-pump caused Stoner slump

@ MclarenP Piss off - I can't help what Casey said! No need to get at me because he didn't win!! Maybe Casey just needs to stop complaining all the time and just do his job! As for the arm pump, most riders experience that but don't make such a song and dance about it! Also, maybe the fact that Casey never put in any race distance in testing has a lot to do with his affliction, so maybe if he did what he is supposed to do instead of taking a back seat and sitting around, his strength wouldn't have been an issue! Also, the tyres are different and he maybe should have thought about saving them a bit more - Lorenzo and Pedrosa had none of the complaints Casey had after the race, so why was it just him???? I have never said anything about Casey's initial speed as that was obvious - he just didn't win, the way he was expected to and the way all his fans expected him to!!

MotoGP » Arm-pump caused Stoner slump

@ bugs, Casey did complain about his team! One of the first things he said was that his constant complaint about chatter was being ignored! He said Honda has replied by saying that as he was fast, it couldn't be that bad!! Here we go, the first race and Honda are already under attack because he didn't win!!! Caseys also said his arm pump was because of the chatter he had to to contend with!!

MotoGP » Arm-pump caused Stoner slump

It was said that all through testing, Casey never put in full race distance, but did his usual few laps as fast as possible routine! Maybe Casey should realise that this is just not good enough no matter who you think you are and that other riders do this for a reason and not just because they haven't got anything better to do!!! Casey's arm pump is nothing other riders will not have had to cope with, and as current world champion should not be used as an excuse for not winning the race! Casey was beaten fair and square and no excuse under the sun can be used as a reason for it other than he just wasn't good enough!!!
