MotoGP » Valentino Rossi lashes out after Qatar nightmare

If people had listened to what Neil Spalding had to say about the Ducati they would realise Valentino doesn't stand a chance of getting anywhere on the bike!! All this rubbish that Valentino is useless, lost it, can't ride a bike, has been exposed is pathetic! It is the Ducati design, the stupid "unique" bike that Ducati seem to think is more important than anything! It's "unique" allright in that it is a load of crap and the worst bike there! Valentino needs to walk away and let them get on with it instead of trying to help them because he is fighting a losing battle - Ducati are just not worth it and Valentino is so much better than that!!!!

MotoGP » 'Realist' Rossi 'a long way off' heading into Qatar

I am looking forward to the race in Quatar. I don't expect to see Valentino any higher than 5th, so if he manages a 4th then he will have done well. Obviously it will be between Stoner,Lorenzo and Pedrosa for the top 3 places, butI think Ben Spies will be in with a good chance and will be the other in the top 4 so it will be interesting. Is that enough for you all to have a good old belly laugh?? And that is before the race has actually taken place!! I might be a saddo, but I am a realistic one!!

WSBK » Lascorz condition remains unconfirmed

Hope to God, Joan is OK - said a prayer for him! I also think the Imola track is quite dangerous where the last double chicane is and maybe it should be straightened out. Too many riders try to cut the corners and it only ends in trouble. Don't know if this had anything to do with it, but there was an awfull looking crash in the early race. Fingers crossed!

I can't believe how people can really believe Valentino Rossi has suddenly "lost it" since moving to Ducati!! Skill and talent doesn't just disappear overnight. Motivation and confidence might though and surely it is plain to see that this is really the problem, and not all the gumph that gets said on here! It is also amazing how people can slate, abuse and generally slag off a rider that has won 9 world championships - doesn't matter if you are not a fan, you should still have a bit of respect for an achievement like that! All the raving about the brilliance of Casey Stoner is fair enough, because at the moment he is definately at the peak of his career, but just remember, Casey can and will be beaten, maybe sooner rather than later, so will the usual sort of slating and abuse go hand in hand with any sudden fall from grace from him as it seems to be par for the course!!!!!!!!!

@ billace - Valentino has enough money to last him several lifetimes. I would have thought all he will want to do is get back to winning races. I think Valentino can still win and he probably knows he can, but who it will be with is, I agree, going to be very difficult. The paddock is very fickly though, so I am sure someone will be only too pleased to grab him when the chance arises! As for who will go to Ducati - would you want to risk your career!!
