MotoGP » 'Realist' Rossi 'a long way off' heading into Qatar

I also think that it has taken Valentino to give Ducati the kick up the ar-e and realise they should have listened to Casey in the first place! Ducati just fobbed Casey off and didn't believe him, they thought it just needed someone like Valentino to tweek this, fiddle with that and it would all be hunky dory!! How wrong could they have been! I don't for one minute think they are ignoring Valentino, I still think it is the hierarchy that are the main problem - in particular Preziosi.

Ducati don't have the time to get their bike where it should be to compete at the front. Give them a few more years and they might be able to do it, but at the moment they are so far off they are kidding themselves!! It takes years to develop a winning bike, look at how long Honda and Yamaha have been at it! Even the Japanese manufacturers had their initial problems, but it takes time to sort them out, and time is something both Valentino and Ducati just don't have!! There will have to be a parting of the ways if Valentino wants to get back to the top, but who will want to get on the Ducati will be another story as I can't see the list being very long!!

WSBK » No Imola victory repeat for bruised Rea

Neil Hodgson hit the nail on the head when he compared the Honda Jonny rides to the Ducati Casey Stoner rode. Only Stoner could get anywhere on the Ducati and only Jonny can do the same with the Honda! Even Carlos Checa had trouble when he tried riding the Honda, and now, Aoyama is showing just how hard it is! What Jonathan Rea does to get that bike up at the front deserves every credit going and in his own words, "The bike is not going to get the better of him"! Jonathan Rea is probably one of the best riders there is, he just needs a bloody good bike under him !! Put him on Casey's Honda- that would be seriously interesting!!

MotoGP » Dani Pedrosa wary of title risks in Qatar

I think when you have had as many injuries as Danny has, you would tend to be a bit more cautious. Danny doens't want to start the year either coming off, or doing anything that would put him and any old injury at risk! I also think he has every intention of giving Casey a run for his money and winning as many races as he can - why else is he there??? If Danny hadn't suffered so much last year, there could have been a totally different story!!

MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP: And the winner will be...

I seriously hope we don't have another "walk over" by Stoner and Honda again this year!! However, it is looking as if that is what is going to happen! In fact, you could predict the end of year top 3 this championship is becoming that predictable!! Please let us have some good racing, some close battles, some real excitement so that the winner is not a forgone conclusion!!!! If that happens then I couldn't care less who wins!!
