MotoGP » MSMA, Dorna discuss latest 2013 MotoGP proposals

Valentino understands the importance of keeping spectators entertained. MotoGP is a sport and any sport needs interest to keep it going, so lack of interest means lack of spectators etc. etc. Valentino has said for years that something needs to be done because the racing has become boring, processional and lacking in any excitement so whatever changes are made in the future, you wont get him threatening to quit! As LCtanner says, what kind of champion starts making threats about packing in because he is in a panic?? Casey Stoner should be getting involved not throwing a strop because he is worried about the affect it will have on him. MotoGp will not have a future if something serious is not done to turn it into an exciting, entertaining sport once again.

What's with all the Valentino Rossi attacks?? Of course Valentino has changed - he is older and wiser. He has had injuries to contend with, something never experienced in his life before. He has had to cope with the loss of one of his best friends. He has had a nightmare few years and still tries to put a brave face on it all. As for his post race "shows", they were hilarious. Each one had a purpose and his fans loved it. Even Jorge tried to copy, but it was never the same. I especially loved to see Valentino standing up on his bike, leaning back with his arms outstretched, or wheelying with one leg behind the other, or even better - sitting sideways on the tank!! Brilliant and sadly missed!

The people who seem to have all the answers to Ducati's problems must think nobody in the garage has thought about any of their suggestions!! I would have thought that Jeremy Burgess,Valentino and all the other mechanics etc. involved would know what they have to try to do because if they didn't it's no wonder Ducati are in such a state!! Yamaha and Honda have years and years of experience and have spent millions developing their bikes over the years, probably also needing to constantly change this, that and the other to get where they are now. Ducati are relatively small fry and have much less experience with development compared to the Japanese and obviously, the years it takes to achieve perfection are not on Ducati's side if they want to get anywhere sometime soon. J.B. and V.R. are doing their best to help get Ducati a winning bike without all the problems riders are expected to deal with and somehow overcome, but it looks as if Valentino just hasn't got time on his side!! Give it

I am reading so many comments from people who think Casey Stoner is going to be champion from now to the end of his career!!!!! Things like "At least Casey will go out on a high, not like someone else!! Are these people so deluded they really think this is going to happen?? Get real people. Casey will go the way all riders go. He will have good times and bad times. Don't kid yourselves he can never be beaten as he can and he will be!!
