F1 » Japanese Grand Prix, Suzuka - Qualifying times

Great to see Webber where he belongs - in front of Vettel. Just in case you are wondering why I said that - check this out... I've done some calculations and weight corrected, Webber out qualifies Vettel 11 to 4 this year! People write Webber off because Vettel is killing him in qualifying but people forget that Webber is 16-17kg HEAVIER than Vettel!!!! He's losing over half a second PER lap due to extra weight! Work it out and Webber is kicking Vettel's butt in qualifying 11-4! Vettel is great, no doubt, but when you are by far and away the lightest driver on the grid, it makes it a bit easier. Also makes you look more impressive against one of the heaviest on the grid!

F1 » Webber: Leaving F1 the best move

And another thing that blow's me away is people on here saying that the stewards thought there was nothing wrong with the incident so it must have been OK. Right. The stewards. The fairest and most consistent people in F1 who are ALWAYS right! lol I find it a joke that they see fit to give Hulk a drive through for causing a collision after loosing the rear end in wet conditions and hitting someone. Yet Vettel who crossed the ENTIRE width of the track and took 2 people out of the race in DRY conditions is let off scott free! Yes, the stewards! Great argument!

F1 » Webber: Leaving F1 the best move

Bloody hell, I've just watched it again and i'm dumbfounded that anyone think's that's Senna's fault! Vettel had his front right wheel on the OUTSIDE white line of the track and was 'hit' by Senna while Vettel had his front left on the INSIDE white line of the track. He crossed the ENTIRE width of the track, hit Senna who was already there and this is Senna's fault??? Are you currently on medication? Senna was up the inside, in total control I might add, never locked up once and was turning into the corner. Vettel's fault 1,000,000%!!!

Sorry Ptolemy, you may have looked at the youtube footage, but it certainly wasn't biased! Yes, Senna was up the inside - for whatever reason - but that is irrelevant. He was at the inside of the corner - it was his. He had the front of the car in control and it was going around the corner. You make it sound like he went straight on at the corner - he did nothing of the sort. Vettel was on a wide line and turned in late and square, just like he always does. He simply didn't count on there being a car there but there was. He turned in on Senna as plain as day. That accident was 100% Vettels fault and it totally astounds me that anyone thinks otherwise. He was NOT a leading car at all, he was fighting for position. For God sake watch this and LISTEN and LOOK - Search Youtube for - Senna and Vettel - Brazilian GP 2012 Dual Onboard

F1 » Clutch and gear issues thwart Button at Monza

@thelogicalview Agreed their season has been a disaster, but it's not going to get any better. They've already come out and said that there will be no more updates this season - so it's all to play for next year. However, considering that this year's title is all but wrapped up, I would imagine just about every other team will be stopping development on this years car as well.

F1 » Has Webber revealed identity of successor?

"reports say that the new Mercedes engine can outperform anything that Adrian Newey can gain out of the aerodynamics" I've seen endless quotes of this nature, but buggered if I know what they're based on. None of these engines have even been off the bench yet, so quite how someone comes to the conclusion that the Merc engine is already the best, and good enough to overcome Newey's designs is really quite beyond me! Sounds like Hamilton fanboy optimism to me!

F1 » Hamilton defies the rain to make it four in a row

@HAMizdaschizniT "Rainman strikes again" Really? I'd like to know where this myth that Hamilton is some sort of rain master comes from. The only thing Hamilton does when it rains is go backwards and continually choose the wrong tire! I've NEVER known a Formula 1 driver to make so many wrong calls on tires - it's comical. I'm PRAYING for rain tomorrow - it'll be hilarious!

@slickmagic Get a clue dude! Hamilton got pole because he was last over the line - end of! Bloody hell, the lap before Button was in P3 and where was Hamilton??? @Cryonbrian Best driving you've seen in 15 years?? OMG! We didn't even see any of his lap! I guess his pole position was just down to him being the best and nothing to do with the track getting faster every second?? I really didn't think it was possible for Hamilton fans to get any dumber - you've proved me wrong yet again!
