MotoGP » VIDEO: Iannone - The Ducati is fantastic!

TF2: There's no points for quali. The stupid tyre rule (so much for a 'control' tyre) which gives Ducati and Open bikes a soft tyre for one fast lap, but denies them a hard tyre to actually do race distance on is the concern. It troubled them last season with the GP14. It'll be a shame and a damn outrage if they have worked so hard to get the GP15 sorted and then they are denied the chance to race properly due to mechanical grip & longevity issues - all as a result of a very bad rule decision that should never have been ratified.
Do the rules not state that when an open bike performs to a specific level then they are automatically switched to the factory rules? Which makes your 'concerns' mute.

F1 » Vettel prepared to defy F1 helmet change ban

Yes, well, it would be bad form to let the lowly drivers do personal things that bring up fan enthusiasm and participation and lend actual personality to drivers. I mean, look at all the damage Rossi has done to MotoGP with his constantly changing helmet designs, bike livery, fan engagement and weekend Memes... Be terrible if Vettle were to do something like that in F1....
