MotoGP » Chatter behind Ben Spies Qatar MotoGP misery

@ inconvenience "Ben seems to forget that he's riding a Yamaha M1 and not a Yamaha R1. I feel sorry for Ben's side of the garage, having to set up the bike in a stupid way because their rider refuses to ride the bike properly. It's no wonder he crashed twice in practice and qualifying, damaging his bike in the process which destroyed his race." Watch the video above. Is that down to Spies not riding the bike properly?

MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP, Losail - Race Results

Great riding Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Stoner! It was said before the race that the tyres wouldn't hold out for a full race distancee. Perhaps Casey's practice of doing short runs won't be a good idea this year? Dani did great after a bad start. But Jorgez, great job! Cal Crutchlow? Well done lad, to him and Dovi. They put pressure on each other the whole race. Well done to both of them! - but especially to Cal :-) Felt sorry for Spies. People will slate him but after 2 huge crashes this weekend, his confidence was shattered. Well done Colin on the CRT (yeah right!) bike. No doubt the Rossi haters will have a field day. Finally, well done to Stefan Bradl in his first MotoGP race, he did great! Racer of the weekend? Pedrosa! Losers of the weekend? Spies, Rossi and Ducati... Casey, the lack of strength in your right arm is what comes from being married! Be single again and the strengh will soon come back...

MotoGP » Ducati turns the corner with new GP12

"did you see Ago or Hailwood if you did not, then you did not see the 2 greatest riders of all time I am a stoner fan but rossi and stoner not even close " Explain why mate? From what I have seen, Ago's bike (and Hailwood to a lesser extent)was so far ahead of their competition that the on occassion lapped the rest of the field twice. That's not just down to talent mate, that's down to having a vastly superior bike! Having done my research, I reckon Hailwood was a better rider that Ago...

"At the request of Rossi Dorna has already increased the minimum weight 4 kilos overnight and right when Honda had their bike finished. Pedrosa and Stoner are pissed. I expect all this backroom door deals to go on until Rossi wins." The paranoia of some posts are hilarious. I'm picturing Valentino as The Godfather in a dark smokey room with a cigar (ala Marlon Brando) telling all the bigwigs of MotoGP what do do... Don't be silly!

MotoGP » Ducati turns the corner with new GP12

Rawdawg mate, am now in bed with a very large cuppa tea! Where do I see Rossi finishing in 2012? As a Rossi fan since 2001, I genuinely don't really care anymore y'know? MotoGP is a bit boring these days. I tend to watch WSB and BSB as the racing is more exciting. I think Stoner, Spies and Lorenzo are brilliant racers, but I got so bored during the races in 2011, I fear I'm losing interest. Nothing to do with Stoner, Rossi, Lorenzo Pedrosa or Spies. I used to stay up to 4am to watch races. These days, I just set the DVD to record them cos I can't be ****d anymore. Go Stoner I suppose, pehaps I'm getting old, but I'm losing interest in MotoGP. Anyone got a gun for hire :-) EDIT by CRASH.NET: "Time to get back on topic."
