MotoGP » Miller apologises to Crutchlow for wipe out

Yossarian: Rookie of the year is not a matter of opinion, the award goes to the newcomer with most points at the end of the season.
yeah some seem to think we pick them, as you say. the rookie with the most points is the rookie of the year. its that simple. on a different point. my thoughts on miller have nothing at all to do with where he was born. I also didn't like stoner, but doohan is one of my all time fav's and again where there from has nothing to do with that. if you like a rider just because of where there from, you are being very narrow minded

MotoGP » Laverty slams ‘tow-trucks’ after ‘disastrous’ qualifying

A bike following him wont make him go faster, unless your at some very fast tracks. Where there at high speed longer that a second or two.

MachSpeed: Towing also helps the rider in the front, less than the one being towed, but overall they both go faster. Might as well give somebody a tow.
we are not in nascar were they stay at high for a long time were the tow (ie slip stream) helps both. also the word tow in this instance doesn't mean slipstream, it means you use the other rider in front as a maker that helps you with your lines and braking etc, its easier to follow someone that way
