WSBK » New WSBK champion Guintoli joins PATA Honda for 2015

Kile: Remember Sykes coming from 11th to win in Donnington. His 3 doubles... Won the pole award.. Does anyone honestly believe Sylvain is the fastest or best rider? Better than Laverty? Better than Melandri who whipped him the 2nd half of the year? Fact is Sykes has lost the title twice in 3 years due to Aprilia team orders. The fact Aprilia chose not to keep him and only Honda want him shows what a joke this whole situation is.
team orders made no difference this year, malandri only help him with 5 points and guintoli won by 6 points. it makes no difference who is the fastest etc, guintoli finished every race sykes has been taking it to easy the last few meetings not wanting to crash

MotoGP » Suzuki return 'full of emotion' - and smoke

Vilas46: They will be ready for Sonday, and i put the same target, Top 10 place for Randy!! The importante worck will be done after this race, where the feedback of new riders will enter in Suzuki plans, With Alex experience on recente bikes, he will know how to point Suzuki the fast way to reduce the gap... I bealive Suzuki...
no chance of a top 10 unless a lot fall and Rdp is known for sitting in the gravel a lot . but anyway, its great to see Suzuki back

MotoGP » Stoner completes two-day Honda test at Motegi

dickiebird:
Hailwood took more than a decade off and was up to speed very quickly, and Stoner has been compared to him by none other than Agostini. .
Hailwood was never, "up to speed" as you claim. He raced in the IOM, in 1978 when it was no longer a world championship event. Who did he beat? Alex George. Ever heard of him? No, didn't think so. His other outings were in British production bike races on a Ducati dicing with..............hang on, I'll have to look it up. The truth is, as great as Hailwood was, he never returned to top level competition, and for good reason. He would have got blown into the weeds. Stoner is retired. He should stay that way.
Alex George was a good racer, you do him a disservice and hailwood didn't just race the ducati, he raced the rg500 and tz500 etc so again you do him a disservice , I seen hailwood race at donington in 78 and he beat some of the best in the uk at the time, except sheene

MotoGP » Rossi: Stoner at Laguna my best battle

Desh: I'm a Stoner fan, and I love that race as well. It takes two to tango and with hindsight we know how incredible it was for Stoner to even be in that battle on the Suckati. Swap the bikes and that battle simply does not happen, Rossi would have been nowhere. I know Rossi won that battle and he rode a smart race by preventing Stoner from being able to run the super committed lines the Ducati needed to run to be fast, but the reason I like watching that race is seeing how Stoner wrestled that under steering Duc around such a tight circuit at such a speed that if Rossi on the superior Yamaha had allowed Stoner even 1 complete clear lap at the front the race would have been over.
you must have been watching another race, it was rossi that was the under dog all weekend. it also showed stoner didn't like a close fight and wasn't happy at all with rossi lol

BSB » Honda confirms BSB return with Linfoot, O’Halloran

Wob58:
shakennstirred: now they just need an updated bike
Why what's wrong with the current one? One year ago it won the championship without the SP updates
the sp updates only really help the road bike, they make no real difference to the race bike, as most will be changed for race parts anyway. the sp parts are Honda’s press kit states the top line additions that make the 2014 Fireblade SP Ohlins suspension front and rear(road spec), Brembo front brake calipers(road spec), Pirelli Supercorsa SP tyres(road tyres), a forged top yoke, selected pistons, a lighter subframe, a firmer grippier seat(not used on race bike) and C ABS with unique to the SP settings(not used on race bike)
