F1 » Bottas to Ferrari deal agreed?

richard: the italian press are notorious for starting rumours, so until there is anysort of official announcement, i would take it with a grain of salt. if a deal was done, ferrari would have issued a press release!
they also can never keep there mouths shut,,that's why a lot of secrets have gotten out over the years in car and bikes

MotoGP » Honda starts Misano test, 2016 tomorrow

TopDogg: Oh gosh...Yamaha should be testing as well..hope their people back in Japan are working on improving the bike for the 2nd part of the season so Vale can take the title!
they are, people are acting as it Honda doing something sneaky. its not its part of the rules, a few times a year all the teams can test with the works riders at tracks they designated as there test track. Yamaha, ducati etc etc are also doing it. just last week Colin Edwards was testing the works Yamaha with Michelin tyres in Germany, just like Hondas test rider did here yesterday.

MotoGP » Sam Lowes linked to MotoGP with Aprilia

MLF: I'd wait, tech3 and a couple of good hondas are there for the taking once the dead wood is burnt. Lowes is better than all of them.
if you start waiting for a better ride they don't always come up, look at Rea, he didn't get one after waiting years. if it was a stock Honda etc yeah think about it, but its a works bike, he needs to take it while its there. he can always go back to the other classes if it doesn't workout

MotoGP » MotoGP software freeze underway

titfortat: They didn't need all these electronics in the past and were just fine, it just means they cannot ride on rails like they're doing today. As for F1 being boring, you can thank the new engines for that, nothing to do with them getting rid of the electronics aids. With the electronics gone the skills cap suddenly increases and it becomes much more about the rider and not the bike. Marq wouldn't be able to ride the way he does today without them, you'd have to be smooth like lorenzo.
lol you say in the past, but the class started to stagnate with laptimes not going up and only a few that could ride them to the full and even they were getting badly hurt. get your rose tinted glasses off and just enjoy the racing. its the closest its been in years. most races 1s covers 10+ riders
