WRC » Wilson Jr debuts Ford Fiesta R5+

Well this should be great for M-Sport, why would a wealthy privateer still buy an older WRC Car for £175k and spend a fortune running it and have everything regularly overhauled at massive costs, when he can buy a brand new R5+ with a decent spares package and run the car far cheaper over the course of a season I wonder how many we will see out there on the stages next year in the national championships, this car is not really that much more expansive than a new Evo R4 and is much better, it is both much stronger and much quicker, changes direction much faster and is a lot more stable and precise at speed. M-Sport are quite the all round Business, I have said before, Malcolm is a survivor lol !

WRC » Hanninen to get Hyundai outings in 2014

cont : Mikko wants his old job and his old team back. The question is could Ostberg now be off to Citroen, it seems that Morten Ostberg is constantly fishing for his darling son, anywhere but the Team who has helped them the most would be fine, first it was Mini, then Hyundai, and now Citroen. What will happen if he does go to Citroen, will Malcolm then call up Tanak to fill a vacent seat maybe ????

WRC » Hanninen to get Hyundai outings in 2014

It does seem that Sordo is going to be in an i20 WRC for Monte, Maybe there could be a 3rd car for Bouffier yet, but its all a bit up in the air right now, no official announcements regarding either drivers yet, but it now looks like Sordo is going to do Monte in an i20 though. I would say that Sordo may of signed for a Full season and that Hyundai have done a sudden and complete U Turn regarding their second car being driven by a selction of specialist drivers. Sordo was in the running for a Full season with Citroen so doing Monte would probably mean his talks with them have now ended. This could be good for Meeke, maybe with Sordo going to Hyundai Meeke will now be given more attention, I know Mikko has been talking with M-Sport and that was looking pretty solid, but as i said earlier, anything can still happen, Citroen could make Mikko a Big cash offer to stay if they feel desperate enough, but I think Mikko wants to return to Malcolm as he hasnt been happy at Citroen and he wants

WRC » Hanninen to get Hyundai outings in 2014

For Gilles74 What you have to remember is Solberg was getting very frustrated at Prodrive toward the end, Atko was at a different place and took advantage of his mind set and was simply getting on with it, Atko is done though, he proved that with all his various more recent outings, he was only brought in to the Hyundai project for his Factory team experience and knowledge. Hanninen on gravel and Bouffier on Asphalt is easily the best option and the safest, Bouffier had 2 good recent results on the Monte, winning when it was just S2000 and if memory serves me well he was 5th in a Citroen DS3 WRC when the event came back into the WRC, a result Atko could now only dream about. Sad but True.

WRC » Matton: Citroen approach 'different' for 2014

It seems that Yves Matton is talking to Francois Duval about a Full time Return to Citroen in 2014. Im sorry, but if Matton doesnt Like his job he should quit, not get sacked for making such poor decisions Duval left the WRC back in 2005, that would be a 9 year absence since he was washed up. Duval was very quick on the Black stuff but i dont agree with Malcolm that he was a multiple Champion in the waiting, i didnt see it. Maybe i will contact Matton for myself lol, not a Big Fan of French cars but Matton must be desperate if they are considering Duval for a Return lol

WRC » Matton: Citroen approach 'different' for 2014

I am certain that Mads and Mikko will be the drivers fro M-Sport If Matton likes his job he should sign Sordo and Meeke The only possibility is that Ostberg jumps over to Citroen but that would leave Malcolm to consider Meeke anyway Im not sure Mads has done enough for Citroen to want him, i think Meeke shows more promise long term as suspected Kubica struggled at the top, at least Meeke puts in a good few days before going off

WRC » Capito expects rivals to come back 'hard' in 2014

Sadly for the Competition it would seem that VW have all the ingrediants for the perfect Cake once again. They have the Top 2 drivers, they have a fast car and a car that seems to be strong and reliable with no floors I think it will be very tough for any Team to even compete with VW next year, let alone give them a good fight, Ogier is ot only fast but cool and calm and doesnt really make any mistakes, this is why he is the Champion, he is very much like Loeb regarding his approach, and look how successful Loeb was I would like to see Latvala and Neuville pushing Ogier next year, anyone for that matter, I just dont want VW and Ogier to walk away with the Title so easy, its not Good for the Sport. Hopefully there can be a pleasant surprise next season

WRC » Latvala looks to positives despite 'disappointment'

I think Ogier is very complete and seems to hardly ever trip up, Jari is possibly the one driver who can beat him in a straight fight on any stage next year I think Neuville could of if he had stayed at M-Sport, maybe I am just not giving michael Nanden enough credit I think Jari has come on lots this season, he took a step bback in order to take two forward which was needed i think. It will be very interesting for sure but i would say for now that Ogier is going to be the one to beat for sure
