MotoGP » Lorenzo sets high standard at Mugello

As stated you can have all the power and straightline speed but if you don't have the handling of the bike then you won't win. There's more corners on a race track then there is long straights. Proof is in the pudding. Ducati's are really fast in straight line as this weekend proved but when it comes to the corners they lack severly. Yamaha's might not be quickest in straight line but doesnt matter too much as there corner speed is soo impressive and drive out of corners

MotoGP » Rookie Rule out, Marquez in at Repsol Honda?

@realist Totally agree as he brings so much money to sport etc. Rossi only option realistically is a satellite team though and would expect it to be Tech 3. Is it possible to think that it might be Dovi or Pedrosa without a ride?? After all they have both been on factory bikes at Honda and never done much. Pedrosa been in GP 7-8 years now and you gotta feel his days are nearly up at Repsol. I can't see Dovi having a factory ride at Yamaha or Honda as he never done much at Repsol when there...maybe he could go to Ducati. There also talks that Redding is linked to Ducati

MotoGP » Rookie Rule out, Marquez in at Repsol Honda?

Now according to my calculations and assuming that Lorenzo, Hayden, Bradl, Bautista, Abraham and Barbera stay where they are and Marquez joins Repsol and Smith does go to Tech 3...i don't believe there is enough rides available. Lets say there is 1 alongside Lorenzo at Yamaha, 1 alongside Marquez at Repsol, 1 alongside Hayden at Ducati and 1 alongside Smith at Tech 3. That then means Crutchlow, Doviziozo, Pedrosa, Spies and Rossi looking for rides. Now that means 1 or 2 riders could be without a ride next year somewhere

MotoGP » 'Incredible' last to sixth for injured Cal Crutchlow

I was there today and i sat straight in front of his pit box. This guy on Todays performance alone, let alone in previous races deserves a Factory Yamaha Seat alongside Lorenzo last year. The roar from the crowd everytime he came past on start finish straght towards end of race to pass nicky was as loud as the bikes themselves. The reception this man got right in front of me as he got of his bike was 2nd to was like he had won! And to top it off with a broken ankle and in pain finishing less than 5 seconds off factory fully fit spies who was 19 places in front of him....well i dont need to say anymore....great feeling being an english supporter of a english rider doing well in MotoGP at long last again!
