MotoGP » Lorenzo 'maybe contact', Marquez 'it was exciting'

Marquez coming across as the more mature of the two in my opinion. JLO was like a petulant child at the press conference, but at least he offered congratulations in the end. All people who were calling for Marquez to be disqualified, either need to call for a penalty to be handed to Lorenzo, or admit they were wrong. In my opinion, there was nothing wrong with any of it. All the talk of penalties aside, and the girls who were crying about Marquez, fair play to both of them. It was great racing. It's a shame it all spaced apart in the second half, but that was great fun to watch.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: 'Marquez should have been rewarded'

Marquez is more popular than Lorenzo and Pedrosa and Stoner put together, so, yeah, even though he's being sarcastic, it's true. Reeks a little of jealousy, but he's human, and the frustration is understandable but, cest la vie! I think JLO wanted to be "the new Valentino Rossi", but for me (and most fans), that title goes to Marquez. I can't explain exactly why it is, but its true, and its pi$$ing Pedro and JLO off

MotoGP » Marquez handed penalty point for Pedrosa clash

Firstly, Honda having 25 points docked, agreed. This would not have happened if that wire hadn't have been so exposed. These things happen though, and people learn from their mistakes. This is just enough of a penalty to make sure everyone else takes notice too Secondly, I still maintain Marquez didn't do anything wrong other than be involved in a racing incident. However, I suppose they had to do something to appease all the anti marquez people and the complaining little girls. Thats a fair compromise. A little wrap on the knuckles to say "We're watching you". Fair enough. You're pretty much the champion now mate. Spotlight is on. This BS happens when you're both a Rookie and the best in the field.

MotoGP » Marquez, Pedrosa agreement 'almost impossible'

@ BurroMiapanino - You're wrong mate. The comments on this massively show the real public opinion on this. It was a racing incident. The earlier poll was completely flawed because zealots and anti Marquez patrons like yourself could vote multiple times. What is so hard for YOU to understand?? You still haven't stated the rule you think he should be penalised for? Why have you not cited this yet??? Because you're wrong, that's why. Unless you can state the rule word for word, you don't have an argument. If you dont accept that, you're just trolling in my opinion. Marquez is a hard racer, that should not be penalised, it should be promoted. Safety measures need to improve to allow hard racing (like protecting that cable). The precedent should not be set to tell the rider not to push to the limit. Seriously, if its actually your opinion he should be penalised for that move, or a culmination of his previous moves, go and watch garden bowling or something.

MotoGP » Marquez, Pedrosa agreement 'almost impossible'

This is ridiculous now. It's just to add some drama to a championship that is pretty much over. I get the argument that if you were to add all his hard moves up, it looks worse, but to me, they are irrelevant.Penalties need to be judged on an incident by incident basis. Not an accumulation over different races. Rossi has been riding in the top flight for approx 50 or 60 years now (thats what it feels like anyway). should they add all his "infringements" up and send him to jail or something????? Nobody has yet stated the exact rule that Marquez could be penalised for. What is it???? word for word??? This is all just to appease the Pedro and JLO fans It is ridiculous and discgracegul to put undue pressure on a young rookie who has, in my opinion, been the most exciting thing to happen to moto gp in years. All he has done, is race to win. If that is going to now be penalised, Dorna can go fudge themselves
