MotoGP » Sepang MotoGP test times - Tuesday (Final)

Wow, Its definitely only going to be Rossi and Marquez fighting for the championship........ Only joking. Good stuff from them though, but jlo pedro and MM will keep cranking it up. Rossi has to prove he can continuously improve and be consistent these days. Good luck to him though. Is a good start Bradley Smith should be worried. Cal, shouldn't worry yet. Pretty much what he should have expected.

MotoGP » Surgery for MotoGP star Jorge Lorenzo

@ hoppy - absolutely. He was great to watch this year. Similar to Marquez, the falls don't seem to phase him. He just gets up and goes faster. In the movie "fastest" he talks about "the fear". He's obviously aware of it, and the dangers associated with the sport. It would be great to understand the mental process of just getting on and going faster!! As, with Jorge, its not just balls, there's brains there too Jorge was massively admirable this year on and off the track. Hopefully surgery goes well!

MotoGP » Should MotoGP change its points system?

It's a bad idea. If a driver is comfortably in the lead of a championship by around 20 / 25 points, and has a first corner incident in the final race, through no fault of his own, he would probably lose a championship. which should have been his. That is not a good spectacle. That is watching someone get robbed. The beneficiary would also feel like they didn't deserve the championship. However, saying that, it will put a lot of focus on the final race, which will be exciting, I suppose, but it will leave a bad taste if someone is too hard done by!

MotoGP » Six races to decide Rossi's MotoGP future

The fuel limits are ridiculous. The tyres a different to when Vale's glory days where, (more emphasis being put on mid corner speed), And the younger guys are extremely strong from start to finish. He's up against it!! I think he did OK last year, but making a decision in the first 6 races is the right thing to do. I'd say at least 1 win and 3 podiums in the first 6 should be enough indication that he should consider staying. Any less than that and its time to let someone else have a go on the bike in my opinion. He'd do alright in WRC I think. If he does move to 4 wheels, that sport will become much more popular. Hopefully he's stronger next season though

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi's new crew chief named

In rossi's bbc interview this weekend, he said the first 4 or 5 races will be very important to him to decide his future. That's a good decision. I think, in the first 5 races, if he doesn't have at least one win, and maybe 2 podiums, he should call it quits. If he does do that well, i hope he'll stay. Simple as that in my opinion.
